I needed these in order to build a better keychain. I found these rings were more robust than some of the factory rings that came with my keychains. With the multiple size options, it was easy to replace them. The rings are firm, but still easy to open and use by hand.Overall, I would recommend due to their value, build quality, and the multiple sizes in this product.

Way better quality than I was expecting... the finish is a beautiful satin black. I ordered this for only one use, turns out I'm gonna have way more uses for them.

These rings are not thin and flimsy. These are strong, durable rings, but no so strong that you can't get them apart to slip on keys or fobs. The color is not a flat black, but more like a dark metallic pewter color, which I like. I've had them on a keychain jingling around in my pocket and the color has not chipped away. Exactly what I was looking for!

I have a bunch of keys that were on the key ting from a dealer, etc. my wife and I both have had keys fall off that we were fortunately able to find. I bought these to replace the flimsy ones. Worked as expected. I’ll have them forever.

Looking at the reviews, I see this is a pretty common problem, though I seem to have had better luck than most. I wanted some black key rings to match some of my bags and pouches. I liked this set because of the number you get and the variety of sizes. What I got was somewhat disappointing. Initially, only a quarter of the rings, most of them the smallest size, were functional. The rest were rendered unusable, fused together by the powder coating. I was able to pry some of them apart with a knife, and ended up with about half of the rings being usable. I may try another, less dangerous, method to pry the rest apart, but it's almost not worth the frustration and risk of cutting myself in the process.
