Who said cycling gloves had to be hot, stuffy and annoying? Thanks to a perforated palm with Biogel padding, X-shaped ventilation with patented Ergo Air concept and a Power Mesh stretchable upper hand, the Biogel RX-V is a well-padded cycling glove that will efficiently absorb vibrations and reduce pressure on your hands, with the comfort and breathability you need to keep them on throughout your ride.

Positioning of pads made them useless for me
Very disappointed. When I wore these gloves on my first ride with them I found the padding for the heel and bottom of my palm to be located too far back. I wound up having to change the position of my hands on my handlebars much more often than normal and it was like I was not wearing gloves since the important places the bottom and heel of my hands rested on the handle bars were not padded at all. The padding just below the fingers was placed properly but very thin. The padding for the heel and bottom wasn't great but it was adequate. But the poor positioning made it useless. Attached photo with pads circled. I also included an older glove which I really like to show the subtle difference.

Decent value
Before I bought these I read reviews, both good and bad. One thing many reviewers complained about was that the gloves ran small. Another complained about durability and showed how the mesh in the palm had worn out quickly (according to him).I have now put 500 miles on them and offer the following review.I bought a pair of XL and my first impression upon trying them on was that they were too small. I think part of the reason I felt that way was that they are lower on the hand than my old gloves which were a bit more around the wrist than these, and quite tight for the first couple of rides. They have stretched a fair amount and now seem to fit perfectly. So far as durability goes, a small hole, 2mm or so appeared on the back of my left thumb within the first few rides but it has not gotten any bigger since then. As for the mesh fabric in the middle of the palm. I can see no reason for this feature, but so far it has not worn out nor torn. I wouldn’t want to go down hard wearing these as I’m sure they do not offer the kind of protection that full “leather” palms do.Finally, as was noted in several reviews, these gloves do not have a tab or other means to remove them. IDK what that’s all about. When I get home from a ride most days, I simply peel them off and throw them in the washing machine inside out. They have been washed nearly every day for over a month now and don’t seem to be the worse for it. I can’t see the lack of some kind of removal tab as a detriment. All in all they were worth the money, but I probably won’t buy another pair.

The gel pads in these gloves are not in the proper location!
The style and sizing of these gloves are very good. The problem with these gloves is that the gel pads are positioned too far down on the palm of the glove. At least for me, the very bottom of my palm is not where my palm rests on the handlebar of the bike. Additionally, the gel cushion on the outside of the hand (palm) is too far to the outside to provide effective cushioning. As a result, there is little cushioning available for use while in my typical hand placement. This is the only pair of cycling gloves that I've experienced this with.

Fine for hoods not for top bar or drops
I wore these for the first time today on a two hour ride. First, they were slightly big, but not so big that the velcro overlapped at all, so I count that within the acceptable size range. I had absolutely no problems with them when I was riding on the hoods. My hands felt great. The second half of the ride, I started moving around in the seat and on the bars and quickly realized that the padding on the palms is useless for the drop bars or the top bar (to the point of instant stinging pain). I could make the top bar comfy if I put my weight on my knuckle pads and not on my palms, but if you tend to shift off the hoods or ride other than the hoods, I'd find a different pair of gloves.

Not the thickest padding, but quite comfortable
Unable to find my usual gloves in stock anywhere, I bought these on a recommendation. They're not as heavily-padded as some gel gloves (think more along the line of PI Elite gel gloves rather than PI Pittards Pro gel) but they've proven sufficiently comfortable and well-made. I've put maybe a thousand miles on them and they've held up well. They fit quite close around the fingers at first (size medium and I wear US 7.5 gloves, size 7.5 wedding band) but after a couple rides they settled perfectly: a close fit with neither shifting nor restriction. The black leather(ette?) feels like reconstituted leather, so likely won't survive a crash anywhere near as well as, say, my trusty PI Pittards, but they're good gloves.

These have held up pretty well!
I bought these last summer when I'd used up the last of my stockpile of Nashbar crocheted/leather cheapies. I wasn't hopeful, as their (comparative) light weight and gossamer construction led me to believe they'd be falling apart within a month. But here we are in the middle of the next season and they're still going strong! I wear these mostly to protect my palms in the case of a fall, and they performed admirably in that capacity when my clumsiness and wet leaves conspired to drop me to the pavement last fall. They're a little fiddly to get out of, but I think that's mostly down to my buying a size I knew was probably marginally small. They're very comfortable, have ample capacity for sweat and unlike my old faves, they're washable! Well worth the investment for me.

I like them !
Good all around road bike gloves but for me the upper fingers were a bit too tight. This makes them hard to get off and can contribute tingling fingers on a long road ride. Them may get better with time but they have been through at least 15 wahings and that still seems to be an issue. I have small hands and they are size M. My finger are short and maybe a little stubby. They are made well and seem to stand up well. Gloves are kind of a crap shoot for most of us. Size or not, individual hands can be very different within the same size. This might be a good time to go to a bike store and see what's right for you.

Fits good!
I can only speak of sizeing as I have not ridden with them yet. I have a XL size hands. 9.5 inches around the palm and 5 from the begining of the palm to the begining of my middle fingure. The fingures almost reach my first joint and they fit tight but not uncomfortable. I find if gloves do not fit tight at first after a couple of sweaty rides they stretch and may get a bit loose. I bought XL and that is what I need in most brands.
