Nearly perfect.
This knife is great for the price point. I was originally going to order an assisted opener but after reading reviews I decided to go with a more simplistic design. I do not regret the decision one bit. This knife opens like it’s springs loaded and feels great in the hand. It came plenty sharp out of the box and looks great. My only gripe and it’s a tiny one is that it comes predrilled so that you can change the side that the clip was on. I will never use those holes so to me they distract from the overall beauty of the handle. I know it might be a useful design for many but I would have appreciated the option to choose a non-drilled scale. Overall it’s nitpicking but I thought it worth mentioning. I would definitely recommend this knife to others and will be buying more for friends and family as gifts.

What a great folder
I honestly had limited expectations on this Civivi. Really hadn't looked into it much, had just seen one of my favorite reviewers speak highly of it.What a GREAT surprise!! Great Civivi action, super SLICEY, no blade play, solid lockup, perfectly centering. The ergonomics were really surprising, it's a REALLY comfortable "user". I'm just starting to read a bit about the blade steel, but apparently it takes a keen edge and polishes well. 👍👍 The scales are a bit narrow (not like holding a Shaman) so it takes a lil technique to deploy but that's it's only little idiosyncrasy.

What a treat
Beautiful knife, very good feel to it. Action is smooth and quick. I like the use of a thumb stud so I really enjoy the knife with its beautiful Damascus blade and Cuibourtia wood handles. It is a well made knife, high quality, even if it comes from China and I am not a fan of the CCP. I will be buying another Civivi.

Very impressed!
The media could not be loaded. Very sharp, smooth bearings and excellent finish. It also comes with a nice little soft lined carrying case and a cleaning cloth. I wasn’t expecting much because a lot of Chinese brands have a bad rep but I would definitely recommend the hadros! For less than $100 you can’t beat the value here. Been carrying it for almost a week and it’s still as sharp as when it came out of the box.

No lock bar access.
Good blade and decent ergonomics. Handle is very thick which is fine but it’s not tall enough. The handle is basically square which is not the best in a knife. The lockbar engages way too late on my sample as you can see in the photo. There’s also very little lockbar access. I am forced to use my nail to push the lockbar out as I can’t get any part of my finger in there.I really wanted to like this knife as I have 6 other Civivis but this one is going back because of the lockbar access.

Great blade, but just fair overall.
Second Malory design that I own from two different OEM's and though I love the looks, they both fell short in functionallity. Very unlike Civivi but it seems they rushed this design to market. The blade grind, shape, and steel choices are great, but this goodness is obscured by a cheap clip and worst of all, an extremely poor access to the liner lock, making disengaging the Hadros an unpleasent experience. Civivi you know better!!Update: Honestly I need to bump my original 3-star rating on the Hadros to 4 stars. Still have issues particular with the linerlock access on disengagement, but once at work I just can't leave it with such a low rating. Its just that I know that if Civivi addressed this issue particularly, the Hadros would be a homerun!! Hope this helps others.

very nice for the cost
They look and feel like a much more expensive knife. Very sharp right out of the box.

Nice, light razor sharp.
I like this knife the handle is a tad narrow. I bought it for a gentle carry knife.Because of the narrow the thumb stud is a little awkward. I do like it but not for an everyday carry knike.
