These filters are well made and I've never had a problem with them. They filter well and are not slow about making coffee. Superb.

Okay... It's a coffee filter. They hold the ground up beans so the hot water can gently extract the delcious nectar we so desperately crave every day. They do the job well and never falter in their duty as a coffee filter. Bravo, little filter... Bravo!

The most impressive thing about these filters is how fast they filter coffee and tea. I've been using a single cup non-electric cone coffee maker for years with white #2 filters available at my local grocery store. When I recently began using green tea for my morning caffeine fix I found the loose tea seemed to plug up the filter causing the filtering to happen very slowly. It took perhaps as long as five minutes to filter a cup of tea. The Melitta #2 "Natural Brown" filters have what are identified as "Micro-Perforations" on the filter surfaces. These are barely visible pin holes spaced about 3mm apart and which allow the coffee or tea to pass through the paper quickly leaving behind the larger particles of the grounds or leaves. The filter carton states theses filters are "Flavor Enhancing" which may well be the case. I also like the fact these filters are "Natural Brown". I've read where some of the bleaching agents used to make coffee filters white are left behind when the filter material is processed. I like these filters and intend to continue using them.

Does a good job filtering pour over coffee and no frills.

We have tried the knock off brands, and keep coming back because we feel these are the best.They do the job we ask of them and do it well.

I can say nothing negative. These filters are great!
