All in all a solid product. Love that the material is firm and isn't going to tear, even with heavier pins, but with the punched out placements for pins, it can be difficult if you are wanting to display larger size pins or pins that have 2 clasps. Also, a tradeoff of the firm material is that it takes quite a bit of effort to push a pin through to clasp it in place. Behind the punch outs is more backing so for display purposes you have an solid color background, but it also pitches up the pins a bit with clasps in place.

I had to return this because my son's collection of pins have only one post, not two as a brooch has. The flaps make it easy to threat the brooch pin into the space and close it. I highly recommend this if your display is for brooches, but if you have the tie tack style of pins there are other display items available.

The material is a standard, tough yet flexible canvas. The wood stick is smooth and the rope used for the hanging feels solid. I think will last a long time as well. Missing 1 star because of the stitching.. could be better and I purchased a light one and it shows, so if black is a better choice for you I would totally rate that was a 5 star

I love collecting pins and I had a smaller version of this to display them. But I've now out-grown that banner. It didn't occur to me that having more pins means more weight on the banner, so I use two wall adhesive hooks to hang it up. I'll have to buy a second one in the future when my collection grows more.
