Dunlop BMF01BK BMF Strap 2.5" Classic Black

A good, sturdy, simple and, relatively inexpensive, 2.5" leather strap. I have attached DunlopDual Design strap locks without a problem to these straps. The strap is only 3/32 of an inchthick and in spite of the thin leather has been holding up very well.I have two of these straps on my Gibson guitars and have had no problems for over a year ofuse. My Gibson guitars average about 7.5 pounds each and the wider strap helps distributethe weight well. I play about an hour a day and am not on stage for long periods of time.Some players may want to consider a padded strap for better comfort and/or heavier guitarsas well as longer gig times.There is no slippage when playing; this seems to happen with some synthetic straps, this iswhy I chose to go with leather.I gave this 4/5 stars only because the leather thinness. It is still comfortable and easily conformsto my frame. Because of the thinness it is not stiff and unwieldy. Everybody is going to have adifferent experience depending upon age, build, and the amount of time with the guitar ontheir body but for the casual user this is a good solid guitar strap..NOTE: I have bought another 2-1/2 inch Dunlop strap and both are doing well, thank you. As ofAugust 2015 these straps are still holding up without any problems.

I got this because my nylon strap kept slipping on my shoulder. This is a big improvement; it stays put. It's a little long but I was able to adjust it to an acceptable length. Nice looking leather.
