Exactly what I was looking for. I dislike tongs that have a locking mechanism, mainly because I never use the feature. These are just simple, effective, easy to clean, tongs. If you need em to "lock" closed, just use a food safe silicone band around the arms.

No locks, rivets, or springs to deal with. Food service grade. As simple as can be. Also made in the USA.

Quality not good cheaply made

After having multiple tongs over the years ultimately fail on the spring or rivet rusting out, I think it's good to have a 1-piece tool that doesn't seem to have any obvious points of failure.For easier storage, I put a rubber band on it. Otherwise, no issues here. Mine came clean and unbent.I will of course update the review if there should be any problems with it.

These tongs are fantastic. You can pick up a grain of rice or a dime, not to mention whatever you happen to be cooking. You will replace all of your other tongs once you spoil yourself with a pair of these tongs.

i only used it fro 5 months and they are allready broken for that price cmon be serius is my 4 pair and these last ones is unaceptable to bad i will never know if you will fixed and make it better or at leat like before because i wont buyed again,do not loose more customer

One if the tongs was bent upon opening the package. Tried to find the option of an exchange but was only led to make a return and refund. I'll try to bend it back and use it as intended.

Simple design, no hinges that can break. I'm counting on many happy years with these!
