Vision Vite appears to be a quality lutein product ...
For a number of years now I have been purchasing Carlyle's lutein as it always seemed to provide the best value for the money. However I just recently noticed (and I wished I had noticed it years ago) that Carlyle's lutein contains Titanium Dioxide Color as an ingredient. Recent research indicates that there is some problems with this substance. Consequently I've switched to Vision Vite lutein even though it is more expensive (since it doesn't contain the dreaded Titanium Dioxide Color). And after receiving it I find it to be a quality product and am glad to have made the purchase.

Not as small a pill as some have indicated
I've been taking Lutein and Zeaxanthin vitamins for my eye health for a couple of years now because we have a family history of macular degeneration. This is a new brand to me, with a larger amount of both extracts than the ones I've been using, which is a good thing. There don't seem to be any unpronounceable ingredients that would worry me, which is a plus in my book. The expiration date on the bottle I received is over 18 months away, so no issues there.I would not say these are small pills - for someone like me who has trouble swallowing pills, they are on the medium to large size. I've included a photo showing it in my palm as well as the bottle lid to illustrate. But they do have a gelatin coating so that will go some way to making them easier to get down.As to effectiveness, only time will actually tell.

High concentration of lutein + standard concentration of zeaxanthin in EZ to take soft gel...
I take lutein and zeaxanthin supplements to prevent eye disease and help keep the macula and retina healthy. There is a family history of glaucoma and macular degeneration in my family, so I want to do everything I can to protect my eyes while I still can. This Vision Vite eye supplement has a considerably higher concentration of lutein than I am used to taking. It contains 40 mg of lutein per serving (one soft gel) and 2 mg of zeaxanthin. These carotenoids are chemically very similar to each other and both have strong antioxidant properties, although zeaxanthin is considered more potent. Lutein is converted into zeaxanthin in the body. There is no recommended dietary intake, so it is a good idea to do a little research before selecting a product. I take one of these soft gels every other day (alternating with a lower dose supplement that also contains several other needed vitamins and minerals). These are sold under the Pacific Nature's brand and distributed by Pacific Pharmaceuticals USA, based in California, but I am not sure where the supplements are actually manufactured. The inert ingredients include safflower oil, gelatin, glycerin, purified water, beeswax and annatto extract. The current price of $17.99 is very reasonable for a bottle containing 120 capsules.

seem to help with my issues
These were easy to take. They are coated and not a huge horse pill like many seem to be.Did not have any issues with them bothering my allergies.Best of all for me they did seem to help.I notice that my eyes are not nearly as tired by the end of the day as before.Another thing that is better is not seeing fuzzies half as much as before taking these. These are ones I will continue to use because they work for me personally.
