Gate looks great and is easy to install. Because of the length and pressure mounting, it has significant bowing and flex in the middle. Don't expect this to deter a larger (over 30#) dog or determined child.

12/12/21 - updating previous 2* to 3* and will likely be final update. As stated I had to order an additional piece to fit my space. I would encourage everyone to read the descriptions carefully as there are many different options despite being only one item listing to cover all sizes. The space I am filling is around 72” so it is fairly long and the gate doesn’t feel sturdy. It has a lot of give and I’m not confident it will hold up as my 18mo old toddler grows. The latch is also not the smoothest to use. I have 2 other gates from other brands with much better latches both that are easier to use and way smoother on self closing. This gate was fairly expensive compared to others but was one of the only pressure mounted ones I could find for this large space. Time will tell if it was worth it or not…12/6/21 - updating previous 1* to 2* as customer service has been fairly easy to work with. Was instructed to order missing piece and refund would be processed for difference. Will continue to update review once correct pieces and refund are received.12/3/21 - Seems like a good gate but it showed up without a part (part E) and therefore doesn’t come close to fitting the space I’m trying to close off. Will revise my review if I’m able to troubleshoot the issue and receive the correct parts

The media could not be loaded.  Happy purchase. It is quite sturdy enough,We use it to keep our small dog from coming into bedrooms. it is sturdy and the dog cannot get through the sides or over the top. The only thing I don’t like is that the switch/release buckle on the top is not easy to open. I can understand it is difficult for a child. Installation was a breeze, didn't even have to read the instructions. Just saw the note in big text telling people that the space between the gate and the latch was not a manufacturing bug and it became obvious that the top had to be torqued until the two could latch nicely. So do that at the top, and then align the bottom and do the bottom. Then make sure the gate closes solidly and you are done. Takes less than 5 minutes start to finish.Great product! Will be buying a second one for the bottom of the stairs.

We love the walk through gate. We bought one due to a new puppy in the household. We did purchase the nanny wall protectors and it was the best decision for protecting our walls or in our case our facings.Easy to install and the smaller one is very stable and sturdy.Now we have bought a second gate from the same company.

I'm not mechanically inclined a all and hate putting things together. This took me about 20 min and was relatively painless. I do wish the instructions were more clear.If you follow it step by step, you'll end up having to take it apart to add the anchor pieces and kick guard. I took it apart to add the anchor pieces, but when I was done and relaized the kick guard needed to be added I was not about to take the whole thing apart again. Well see how it does without the kick guard.My dogs are 120lb and 85lb and have been raised with baby gates since they were puppies, so they respect the gate.If your dog has never been trained to respect baby gates, you're going to need to do some work with them if their medium sized or above. It's not as sturdy as it could be, and a high energy dog could probably blow right through it if they're not trained.
