Boonie Safari Bucket Hat Foldable Military Style Cap

Been looking for this a long time. Very well made and comfortable I highly recommend.

The hat is high quality for the money, and I love that you don't need to be as careful as other similarly-styled hats. You can wad it up and shove it in your luggage or bag, throw it in the washer/dryer, or even fold it up and put it in a bigger pocket, all without any issue.The main problems with hats like this are the lack of size options and the rim doesn't extend out far enough to cover all of the neck with a lower-collared shirt. I have a big head (about 23.6 inches around, which is between 7 1/2 and 7 5/8) so finding sunglasses or hats that fit right is a constant battle for me, and I often run into issues with items that come in one size or combined sizes. This hat is a tad tight for my head, and a true XL would probably fit just right, but I don't hold that against this product as much as some might. If you have a not-completely-gargantuan head and combine it with some other protection (like a collared shirt) for your neck, this hat will be perfect.The deduction of 1 star is due to the lack of size options/size chart on the sales page. Had an accurate size chart been available, I would have seen that this hat leans more toward Large than X-Large, but I am keeping it because my wife likes wearing it when we work outside. The smaller rim is more a feature of the hat style as opposed to a bug with this particular hat, so I didn't deduct a star. This is marketed as a "military style" hat, and it works for military because the uniforms have collars that cover the neck enough from the bottom.

I love how there is the option for 2 sizes as I never fall into the One Size Fits All category. I've had many people comment on how good it looks and where can they get one. I'm quick to send them the link for Newhatten. I currently have another of their hats in my cart right now.

I am disappointed with this bucket hat - definitely not living up to the description. Material feels cheap and the fit is off. Wouldn't recommend.
