Q: What the pewter actually looks like. I have 2 pair beige and one said white. Would like a true pewter

"Silvery-goldish-pewter"... I AM ON MY 3rd PAIR OF PEWTER IN THIS SHOE! LOVE the color and the shoe! Very comfortable! Still have my 1st pair for just "flopping around the house." One note: I almost always wear a 6.5, but learned that the 6 fits me best in this shoe.

Q: Are these good for travel to UK?

These are perfect for travel because they are so comfortable. I can wear them walking around all day with no problem. I also like the fact that I don't need to wear socks with them.

Q: I ordered a 10 w and it was too large. the only 9.5 is a c d. they didn't have a 9.5 wide in stock. is a c d wide width as well?

I have had wide feet all my life. This is the american sizing everywhere I have bought shoes and it doesn't matter what the brand. B is regular width for women's shoes, D is Wide, E is Extra Wide. In men's shoes regular width is a D.
