Beautiful But Kind Of Thin
I bought these for my 11 year-old, they look just like the picture and are super cute. She said they are really comfortable and the sole, which is a bit like an in-house slipper, has a bit of traction on the bottom. It's not mesh so water sort of oozes out and they could be wrung out pretty easy and collapse almost flat in a bag. The problems we ran into is that our pool has very aggressive traction and we were taking an exercise class so there is a lot of 'running' instead of swimming. The bottoms of the shoes started to wear thin after the first two classes and then she dragged her feet while holding onto a float during the third class and wore her toes right though the top of the shoes. I was really dismayed to see that, mostly because they are so pretty, so I need to get her something more rugged for class.

Light weight & versatile
Update: wore these all summer, around the lake, out at the fairgrounds, on the farm and when kayaking. Still love these. I have however warn them so much I started rubbing a hole on my big toe. Maybe if I didn’t wear them everywhere and just when at the lake they wouldn’t have a worn spot.My original post still stands on this product.Love how light weight these are. Now I haven’t taken them out in the water yet, but I have put them through wedding prep at a river and around town. They have been perfect to slip on an wear around the house and outside on different types of terrain (mud, grass, rocks). Now for the fit, I am usually a size 7 in women’s shoes. I purchased a 6.5-7.5 sizing. They aren’t really big but I could stand fo them to be a bit more snug. But as I expected with a range sizing they fit well and haven’t slipped off. When we go kayaking this weekend I will report on water wear, which was my intention at time of purchase.

Lightweight for backpacking / hiking
I bought these as camp shoes for long distance backpacking trips. I wear a 12.5 shoe and these are a bit snug. If your foot is any bigger than that, they probably won't work . For the backpackers, they are very very light. Mine were just over 3 oz per shoe. Total of just under 6.2 OZ for the pair. I don't think they will be super durable, but I only paid around seven bucks so if they last me through the 2021 hiking season, I'll be satisfied. They have a rubber bottom and I think they could be used to cross water or hike short distances in the rain if you wanted to keep your shoes dry. But I wouldn't push it too far. Very comfortable. I'm wearing them as slippers around the house. I'll drop an update in March or April after I carry them around the AT for a bit.

Bad purchase
Worn only about 10 times to the pool at our resort, a few hours each time and the entire front has ripped open.

great for being in the pool!
approximately two months ago i began taking aqua fitness/therapy classes two to three times a week. it soon became apparent that in order to prevent chafing on the soles of my feet (we are on our feet for most of the class) i was going to need to purchase some swim shoes. when i searched online many were more expensive than i wanted to pay, especially since i was not going to be trekking across rocks or sand, i was only going to be using them in the pool. these work *perfectly* for that function! they are true to size, the soles are such that i do not slip around on the pool floor while i’m exercising, and they are very affordable. if all you want is something basic for the pool so that your feet don’t get scraped up, i highly recommend these shoes. if you want to trek around tide pools and rocks and such, i would buy something more rugged (and more expensive). i have had them now for two months and they show no signs of wear or tear and are in as good a shape now as when i bought them. when these wear out (and it appears that will take a while) i will happily purchase another pair. i am very pleased with this purchase!

Works great. Grips well
These definitely run a little small, but they are very stretchy. I bough a womans large and wear a size 9 wide. They are definitely wide, but a little short. I don't care--stretchy enough to fit. I think an xl would have been too big. I've used them about 3x in a river and I love them! I thought they would slip on wet rocks but they don't! I don't know how long they'll last. They aren't made that well and the water will probably loosen the glue eventually but for now--I love 'em!

Excellent water sock/shoe
i bought a second pair today, just 3 days past my initial purchase. these are great and a reasonable price. they don't feel like anything in the water and protects the feet on relatively rough surfaces. super comfortable - the size chart is spot on....remember to actually stand on your measuring tape so it takes into account the way your feet spread with weight on them. i will most likely buy several more pair for running around outside in the rain for newspaper, mail, etc...

Far too narrow for men.
The foot pad and total height of the shoe inside is far too small and narrow for men. While it is possible to stuff your feet into the shoe, the toe pressure and fact that the sole doesn't cover all contact surfaces is a dead giveaway that these are manufactured for women first. If you happen to have very small feet as a male I suspect these would be fine though.
