Love this product, I use it on my hockey gear twice a week, I spray my gear with it and then hang it to air dry. I have not had any bad smells. Been using it for 4 years now.

While I realize that this disinfectant/cleaner/deodorizer is primarily for sports equipment related sweat, I figured this would be terrific for bedroom/house slippers as well. However, this didn't really do much of anything for that which I found surprising and disappointing.The ingredients are very difficult to read on the smaller bottles, and I think everyone should know what sort of ingredients are in a product they are purchasing for the health and safety of themselves and their families. On the larger jug, the ingredients are more legible, but frankly I feel that having white on yellow is not being very potential customer-friendly. Some folks have mast cell disorders and other sensitivities that makes knowing what's in a product vital, so I am disappointed it's not listed anywhere more clearly. However, on the big jug, it's easier to see and read, so I'm glad for that.The spray's clean scent isn't offensive and would be good for using on equipment that would get pretty funky without some sort of disinfecting and deodorizing. The scent is not strong and hasn't irritate any sensitivities of mine thus far, which I appreciate. I've used this recently in a vehicle that used to be a food delivery vehicle, (and it smells like it) and so far all I smell is the cleaner's scent. It may be too soon to tell, but I'm happy that it's working there so far.I do wish the sprayer wasn't such a wet spray, and offered a fine misting option, as I don't like wetting the stuff I'm spraying so much, particularly on the upholstery in the vehicle. While I wish this had worked on simple house slippers, it may still be useful for our vehicle upholstery to get the restaurant smell out of for the most part. I think personally the cost is steep, for our particular usage, but for a team it may be more feasible. Thanks for reading.

This is one of the more pleasant smelling sanitizer/deodorizer I've come across. Like bleach it kills all the nasties, but there's no bleach scent at all. It's sort of a generic air freshener scent that's pretty pleasant. It's easy to use (spray and let dry) and so far it's not caused any issues with any surface it's been sprayed on: fabric, plastic, leather (both real and the manufactured type) and metal.While I can't verify that it actually kills bacteria and viruses, I can say it does an excellent job of deodorizing exercise equipment, even fabric covered items that can generate a pretty significant stink. However, it's not all that great as a cleaner. I've tried it on exercise mats that got dirty from shoe traffic and, while it got rid of some of the dirt, it didn't do a great job. I ended up cleaning it with a conventional spray cleaner, then doing a pass with this to deodorize/sanitize.It comes as a set of three: a gallon jug; a 32 oz spray bottle and a 16 oz spray bottle. That's a nice collection of sizes, and I like the ability to refill the sprayers from the gallon. However, the spray heads are not great. Despite the pretty high price point for the set, the spray heads are the cheap variety that are not all that comfortable to use, and don't disperse all that well. I ended up using my own sprayer since the ones supplied are so inefficient and uncomfortable to use for extended periods.One star down for the cost-cutting spray heads, but otherwise it's a good performing deodorizer/sanitizer. I recommend going for the gallon version and using your own spray bottles.

We have a home gym with several pieces of large gym equipment. My husband and I both use it but he definitely gets A LOT sweatier than I do. (and I mean dripping with sweat sweaty!!!) Needless to say, we are pretty particular about cleaning and sanitizing the equipment between uses. When I saw this set, I knew I wanted to try it!!I love that this product cleans AND deodorizes. Let's face it, gym equipment can get quite stinky if not cleaned properly. I use this to spray all of our equipment, the hampers we keep in there for our workout gear, and even the gym flooring. (rubber tiles) I LOVE THIS STUFF!!!!The scent is surprisingly mild but still very fresh smelling. It doesn't stick around long so for those that are sensitive to strong fragrances, I think you should be able to use this.The spray nozzles work well. I haven't experienced any problems with dripping or clogging.It is very easy to use. No scrubbing necessary, you can just spray and go! Occasionally, I will use a clean rag to wipe everything down really well but in between uses, we use the spray to keep everything smelling fresh and clean.It may seem expensive but you are getting A LOT of premium quality spray that actually WORKS! It doesn't just cover up odors, it destroys them!

Where has this been all my life?!?! Seriously, as the mom of stinky multi sports playing boys it’s a struggle to keep equipment and uniforms from not being gag worthy. Especially that hockey equipment…just thinking about the smells is making me nauseous! I have tried all of the main brands of various sprays and detergents with varying degrees of success, and I am always down to try anything that can get the stink out and disinfect! So I was excited to give this Clear Gear a try.And boy does it work! The scent is pleasant, honestly I wish this came in different scents, but it works so well that I’m not complaining to much. It’s super easy to use, Basically all you do it thoroughly spray and let dry. And BAM! You have cleaner smelling and disinfected equipment!The only real thing I have to say I’m not a fan of is the spray nozzles on these. For the price point I expected better quality, or at least ones that sprayed evenly and didn’t leak all over my hand while spraying. But even with this I still think the product is worth 5 stars, that’s how much I love this stuff!
