Comfy Moda Women's Waterproof Fur Lined Winter Boots Warsaw

Wow, gorgeous boots, luxurious look and feel, ready to test in Alaska
I'm writing this really prematurely as I just got these. But they are gorgeous! They feel like wearing a coat on your legs too as the fur comes practically up to your knee. They came packaged beautifully, with extras like a little brush and a pair of insoles for better support.I'm sick of cold feet. And I live in Alaska so that's not a good thing! I'm sick of my Bogs and other misc boots that always fail me after 15 minutes in under 10 degrees temperature. I even dug out my clunky high end hiking boots last week to deal with -6 morning runs up to school. i also dug out my uncomfortable wool socks that are 20 bucks a pair. Then I ordered some Ugg Adirondack IIIs - found them at a discount - and they are 2 weeks out from arriving. Arrggh! So I stalked women's winter boots on Amazon Warehouse for a couple of days, and these popped up one day at a pretty steep discount, size 9. My feet are usually more an 8, but my hiking boots are 8 1/2, so I thought I'd try it out. They are perfect. The 8s would not have worked, at all.I also ordered some Polar brand mid calf boots for a similar price from Warehouse. They got here today and they were just awful. Super low end. There was no way those things could keep you warm in Alaska - there was nothing to them. Really light, and the shoe itself was made of some wimpy thin material with the smallest amount of fur. These may not be Uggs, and the stitching doesn't look like a $500 boot or something - but these Comfy Moda boots feel and look very luxurious and well made. I don't know if I'd want to wear them tromping around ice fishing or something - and for long walks I might go with my hiking boots or the Ugg Adriondacks just because I want to protect these lovely things! But most of my life is shuffling kids around, going for shorter walks, and going to some social stuff (eventually anyway if/when life gets more normal!) - and these are beyond Alaska chic, and will make me pretty fashionable.Whereas before I was desperate for those Uggs to get here, now I don't really care. Feels like Merry Xmas to me, a bit early :)Update: I've had these a couple of weeks now and still love love love them. In the meantime, I got the Ugg Adirondacks from Amazon Warehouse, which were clearly fake. Uber fake. But even if they weren't, they were pretty hideous compared to these boots. Easy to send back.I also got some North Face Shellista IV Tall boots from Warehouse which were also gorgeous and a lucky find. Nothing fake about them. I thought it might be useful to mention how these 2 tall boots compare. The Comfy Modas fit more like a shoe. That is great for driving and going to the store, etc, but the North Face ones are better for tromping around in the snow. The North Face boots don't feel as luxurious, but are definitely more substantial and more winterized. Deep pile of snow? No problem, and I don't have to worry that I am going to ruin them. The temps have been above 10 since I got the North Face ones so I don't know what the below 0 comparisons are, but for 10 to 20 I've honestly found the Comfy Modas to be just as warm. That's for 10 minute walks though. A day of ice fishing might be a different story.

Excellent Purchase
Really nice quality, cute, super-comfy boots. Definitely get a size up. I wear 10 in Skechers and Crocs, but both brands are pretty loose at that size unless I wear thick socks, so I almost ordered these in a 10, but went up to 11, and size11 fits perfectly. LOVE THEM.

Great boots
I love these boots. Got them in my normal size 8. They fit snug on my foot. Probably can't wear thick socks unless they stretch out a bit. Fits calf/leg perfectly. Love the brown color and so far the laces stay tied.

They are certainly comfortable
I need a good, warm pair of boots for my trip north. Due to my thinner calves I was having an issue finding the right type of boot. Because of the straps, I am able tighten these boots to properly fit.

Beautiful boots but run small in larger sizes
Ordered a size up, and still a bit too short from true size. According to the sizing chart, which I only found online after I purchased them, size 11 is only 10.75 inches, while size 12 is only 11.35 inches. If this is becoming an industry standard in shoe sizing, it’s very disappointing for those of us who wear larger sizes, and that really need true to size shoes. My older boots tend to be true to size. Lately though, most boots I’ve tried on from various brands are just undersized; it’s been very disappointing.

Size up at least 1 size !!!
So far wore boots 3x's. Glad I went up 1 full size because the fur inside down to toes takes up some toe room for sure. Even sizing up 1 size I still feel a thicker sock gives me less room for my toes to wiggle freely. So wearing like thinner trouser socks. It's mostly when I drive my toes feel somewhat constricted. Not as much when walking. They may stretch out in due time. Very comfortable otherwise. Good treads on sole. My calves are a little muscular and the boots fit perfect aroundy calves. Wish they came in Wide size in the foot area. Will keep boot for now and hope they stretch a little. I'm pleased still!

Although I'm sadly returning these boots....
I want to leave a review about these amazing boots! I have to return them, and sadly they don't offer them in a wider width, but this is truly a beautiful boot! I didn't read one bad review of this boot, and I was very hopeful that this boot would work for me. They came beautifully packaged and offer two separate foot bed liners for you to use. I tried both, but sadly, unless I removed both liners and had my foot sitting right on the foot bed, I had no room in the toe box for my foot. I don't need a longer boot, but rather, a wider one. I would definitely just be exchanging these boots if a wider width was offered.I do not have any bunions or other foot issues, but I guess my 55 year old foot, just needs a bit more width across that front foot area.If you have a narrower foot width, than I would definitely recommend this beautiful boot!!!

My favorite winter boots
This is one of my favorite 2022 purchases. Total game changer. My other fur lined boots did not keep my feet and calves warm like this one. I got it to replace an old Bear Paw. I ended up replacing a Bear Paw in favor of this one for my winter in VA -- we probably don't get as much snow here so when I say it's water proof so far, take that with a grain of salt. I love the way it looks. It's soft but stays up because the material is thick. It's comfortable, easy removal because of the zip and the inner laces makes it easy to adjust to your legs. Absolutely worth the splurge, I highly recommend it. Hopefully it'll last a long time.

good quality boot so far
I haven't had a chance to wear the boots outside in bad weather yet. They are a little narrow in the toes, and wide around the ankle (I have fairly narrow feet), but I think the toes will stretch out, and the laces can be done up tighter around the ankles. They seem to be pretty good quality by today's standards (especially for the price). They are genuinely tall, too, almost up to the knees of a taller than average woman. The lining seems thick and warm, going all the way to the toes. GREAT TO HAVE SIZE 12 AVAILABLE !UPDATE: it's 2021 and I still love these boots! The toes have stretched nicely, and no snow gets in when the laces are done up tight, even in very deep snow. I cut the laces so that they didn't interfere with the zippers. Boot spray and a bit of mink oil around the top edge of the sole keeps them relatively waterproof. Only complaint: with climate change, they have been too warm to wear most days this winter! They are warmer than my Sorel felt-liner boots!UPDATE 2: If you have a problem with the zippers (which I haven't, so far), find a good shoe repair shop and get them replaced with better quality ones. It will cost a fraction of the price of a new pair of boots, and will likely be sturdier than the originals.

These fit just fine as the front is adjustable with laces
I ended up returning these. The zipper on one kept getting stuck. They also bunched at the back of the ankles, which got very uncomfortable. I have wide calves, about 16". These fit just fine as the front is adjustable with laces, but any wider you'd have a problem covering the front of your leg with the "tongue" part behind the laces. I'd say even at 16" they would probably look better on someone with calves 15" or smaller. They are warm and have great tread! They are very cute, just not for me.

So glad to have found these
It is so hard finding a longer narrow boot. They are wider in heel, I have a narrow heal. Have not gone on a long walk yet but they feel so warm. They come with two different insoles and a brush for the suede. I might have to get the black ones too. Love that they are adjustable and have a zipper. Hopefully I receive my refund on the first pair, otherwise I would have given a 5 star.

Worth Every Penny!
These boots are absolutely beautiful! They are exactly as pictured and fit true to size. They are very comfortable. The lining is thick and soft. I'm 5'9" and the shaft comes almost to my knees. The soles are waterproof and have a good tread to help you keep your footing on slippery surfaces. The only problem is that it's been so warm in B.C that I doubt I'll get a chance to wear them this winter lol, but I have no doubt that they will keep my feet and legs toasty.I'm in love with these. Definitely buy them. They're worth every penny!
