Nice 'n Easy Permanent Color, 7/106A Natural Dark Blonde 1 ea (Pack of 4)

Ordered this for my Mother, she has used this color for years.

For decades I used Clairol #106 Nice N Easy hair color. About five years ago the company changed the formula, the box and even the preparation. Now I find the old, reliable product that I loved on Amazon.Happy it's still available.THAT is the review I was going to send. Instead there was a bait and switch and i received four boxes of the "new and improved" formula, which I hate. The only reason I placed the order is that the picture of the product showed the old formula I had used for ages. Very disappointed.

I have white growth from dark blond hair color, tried the natural dark blond, result, medium brown, . Called clairol, this shade has been discontinued, and shelf life is 3 years.

I recently posted a review about how the new color formula is DREADFUL. Turned me into a brunette. Many Many reviews online are demonstrating how AWFUL this new formula is, turning color that is not true to the box and previous experiences. I complained to Clairol and received A $10 cerificate today and a letter. I called the customer service number on the letter. The rep I spoke woth was very nice. I asked her why I was sent a certificate for something I obviously would not purchase again. She didn't know. I asked her what Clairol was doing about the dreadful new formula that had hundreds of online complaints. She didn't know. She said Quality is in charge of that and hasn't told Consumer Affairs anything. Sounds like Coty/Clairol has a BIGGER problem than just this new formula.

I do not like this new formula. Too heavy with conditioners almost like a greasy vegetable shortening type of feel. Felt like a greasy residue even after rinsing with warm water for twenty minutes. I prefer the original formula. I used dark blonde. Ok but more like a light blonde.

I have been using this color for quite a while and usually had a coupon to use to make it reasonable. Without the coupon it was just too expensive. I was able to get it here at the same cost it would have been at the store with the coupon.
