I have read all of the volumes in the JL 3000-3001 series and was sad to see it cancelled so abruptly. With that said, this last volume's storyline felt forced and the premise was tired. Another couple characters emerged from the 20th century - big surprise after the same thing occurred in the last volume! Also the villains get lost (what happened to the Legion of Doom other members? Why is Lois now friends with Amanda?). I'm lost?! It feels like the writers just decided to change the story archs and left numerous unresolved situations. Oh well!Finally the ending was also puzzling. If you know the book is cancelled why not have a wrap-up ending? Good series with mediocre volume.

good read of a good book

There was something about the art and the writing here that I just couldn't get into. The concept of the story wasn't terrible, but I just found myself giving up on it early and removing it from my Kindle. That stinks, because it does have Booster Gold (who I love), and has so many familiar characters... sort of. Just didn't jive for me... sorry DC.

Well the title is certainly correct, with this book Justice League 3000/3001 falls apart, goes off the rails, into the ditch and catchs on fire.After (yet another) shocking turn, half the team is dead and the JL3k is on the run hunted by an evil version of the Legion of Super-Heroes. More (yes more...) 21st century characters appear as they gather their forces to fight the new threat and...The book is canceled.Giffen et al, make no effort to resolve plot lines or clear up mysteries. In fact they end on a cliffhanger and then have 2 characters joking about how they didn't appear because they don't bother with canceled comics. It's a slap in the face to any fans who stuck with the book.Save yourself some disappointment and don't even bother.
