Great Multi-faceted Toy
This is a great multi-faceted toy we've had for a good long while now, so I can also say that it is durable. So we bought this initially to have in an activity bag we could take to places like church with our son, who loves shape sorting. I purchased this because it could also be used to improve his fine motor, not only with the pressing of the pieces into the foam, but with stringing them on the laces. I also really like that the different colors allows for you to mix and match a different colored background to the shapes to help illustrate the differences in the shapes. The only challenge we've faced with this toy is probably one you wouldn't have...he's constantly trying to eat the foam shapes, so we can't ever leave him alone with this one. But I think this is a personal struggle for our family, not a design issue for the toy, which is geared towards an age where you should be able to have pieces this size.

A lot of fun packed into one
Because there are so many different ways to play with this toy, my 3 year old daughter doesn't seem to get bored with it at all. The pieces are brightly colored, textured on one side for ease of placement and tactile stimulation, and just the right size for little hands. As a teacher, it's nice to be able to use just one toy to teach so many concepts (sequencing, different/ same, colors, counting, sorting, shapes, and small motor development through placing the pieces in their spaces, stacking, stringing, etc.) This is also one of our top choices when she needs to be occupied and quiet for a longer period. This toy earns its place on the toy shelf. Thanks, Lauri Toys!

Great Product
This product was a great purchase for our family. I originally bought it for my three year old son and he plays with it off and on. He loved it for a little while then moved on to other things; however, this isn't the toy's fault. I have also discovered uses for it with my five year old kindergartner. I was able to teach him patterns using the little pieces that come inside the bigger circles. The pieces are very durable; I have found my baby chewing on them and they still hold their shape and were fine. This is an excellent educational product for young children. I recommend it!

Great quiet activity
Pros: Quiet game for toddlers that really challenges their fine motor skills. Very versatile -- you can play a different "game" every time (match the colors, match the shapes, complete the big circles, thread the big circles, thread the small shapes, etc.)Cons: There are a lot of small pieces that can get lost. I store the whole set in a gallon ziplock bag.Would definitely recommend.

Love this puzzle
These are not quite as thick as my original purchase but that was 30 years ago! Love this puzzle. The original dry rotted after many years. It is challenging and very entertaining for the grandchildren

Great motor development.
Lauri Toys are great for development and this set did not disappoint. I purchased this for my 3 year old nephew and it's given him hours of great motor development play. The pieces are rubber, so if you have a little one who is hard on things, you definitely want to watch them with this. I like to be around anyway to help guide them in play and see what they come up with too.

I love these little puzzles
I love these little puzzles. There are 4 colors of the same puzzle, but the interior shapes can be mixed up to make multi-colored "innards". Some of my kids like the puzzles to be all one color, but others like to use 2 or 3 different colors. It's a great set !

They love these things
This entertains my 3.5 year old twin boys longer than it should. They love these things. I use them as part of a preschool curriculum but they like to play with them even when we're not in session.
