Whole Vanilla Bean Products from Heilala Vanilla (10)

Some of the reviews scared me from buying this for a long time but I eventually went for it and they are such good quality. Do yourself a favor too and save the empty pods after scraping the beans out to make homemade vanilla extract!

beans are very nice and oily, very fragrant.

The beans were large, incredibly fragrant, very fresh and pliable. Too bad the glass shattered in shipping and was covered in thousands of tiny shards. They had to be thrown away.

Beans were fresh, moist, oily, lots of seeds.However - the very thin plastic container came broken.I have read this has happened with others as well, so it seems to be a common problemI was still able to use the product,Needs a better container

This vanilla came on time and. Smells exactly as it ought! Well packaged if you want to use the beans later the tube works great for keeping the beans fresh. I am soaking the beans in Jack Daniels to make vanilla flavor with a boost! I have a forty year old bottle I add beans to occasionally and add Jack to as necessary.....

Though pricey (what isn’t?), these are good beans. I bought them to use in my homemade Kaluha recipe, and the rich flavor they impart is just right. I imagine they would perform equally well in baked goods, etc.. Packed in a “test tube”, they arrived intact and ready to rock. I’ll be buying these again soon.

Have made my first bottle of vanilla with these beans. They looked fresh and were easy to slice down the middle. Time will tell how good the vanilla comes out, but very positive. Looks great in the jar.

Loved these vanilla beans. Have them soaking in some vodka to make Christmas gifts for all the cooks in the family!
