Big Pump
Do you have someone in the house scared of bugs? This is the solution. Load them up with salt and take cover cause they will be shooting everything around them once they learn how easy it is to use. Just fill with salt and fire away. RIP to all the bugs in your house. If they don't die on the first shot give it another pump and fire again. This is the perfect tool to become your own exterminator.

Really useful and a lot of fun when hanging out in the back yard or cooking out. Bought my dad and husband one too. Do not let those darn bugs stifle your democracy!

Much better than a fly swatter
The flys don't know what hit them. Can post the barrel right in front of them and they are history.Follow up shots are slow and very limited range.Also does't work on anything with a carapace shell. Point blank shots at beetles are frustrating.Works well on spiders though.

We love BUG-A-SALT
We got one of the first generation BUG-A-SALTs for my dad years ago and he is still using it for "big game" hunting when we have a particularly bother-sum fly in our house, or out tent when we are camping. Several years later it is still going strong, and i decided i needed to have one of my own.It turns the chore of swatting pests into a fun game. the new model shoots more accurately, and it looks like they improved the seal on the salt chamber so moisture stays out better then before.I advise emptying the salt chamber completely and dry-firing it once or twice when you plan not to use it for awhile. if you let salt sit in it for several months without use, and moisture happens to get in there you will have to clean out clumped up salt. it cleans out easy enough, but it's a simple measure to keep the BUG-A-SALT nice.

Love this!!
If a spider is over my head......no problem. I am short and if I do swat a spider it some times would land on me! It is hard to rack. But I still love it!!

Works as advertised
It's not a long range little gun, but at the range suggested, it works well on insects that don't have a hard exoskeleton ( hard shell). A roach for example has fairly good protection. Have to hit it with multiple shots at closer range. I even put some boric acid powder in the shot when I shoot roaches. May not kill them immediately, but they usually die eventually.Got it for my wife and she loves it. Apparently she has some "killer instincts" I was not really aware of. It is a bit hard to cock for her.
