New Balance Men's FuelCore Coast V4 Running Shoe

UPDATE:I lowered my initial rating of 5 stars to 3 stars. The fit is still very good for people with wide feet, but once these shoes got dirty, they were impossible to clean. I tried soaking them in water & laundry detergent, scrubbing by hand, those shoe cleaning kits, and a last ditch effort of just throwing them into the washing machine. Nothing worked. If you want shoes that are low maintenance and will stay reasonably white, these are NOT those shoes.--I have feet that are very wide towards the front, I know the struggle of finding good looking shoes that fit. New Balance is one of the few shoe makers that have products for people with wide feet like me, but even within their shoe models, the sizing can be inconsistent.I can say that these fit my 4E feet well, and would recommend them. Here are my critiques:- The outsole/insole, or bottom of the shoe, seems only slightly wider than normal width. The sides of my feet stick over sides a bit, but it's enough support for walking. I would not run long distances in this shoe.- The mesh upper is very, very stretchy. This makes it very comfortable to wear the shoe, as it stretches to match the width of my foot. These have more stretch than my Nike Flyknit and Adidas Ultraboost uncaged, so they are more comfortable.- My feet move left and right a bit in the shoe. Because the top material is so stretchy, it does not provide much side support. Fine for walking, but not for high intensity activities.- The shoe is super light, and very airy.- It is the best looking white-color casual shoe that I have found so far. I don't know why a good looking pair of white shoes for wide feet are so hard to find. These shoes make your feet look very sleek.If you're looking for a good looking, casual, walking shoe for really wide feet, this is it.

There are so many negative reviews for these shoes that I almost didn't buy them, but I'm really glad I did. As some of the other positive reviewers have mentioned this is a purpose-built running shoe, not a casual sneaker. It's extremely lightweight and fits much like a sock as it doesn't have a separate tongue. Some people have mentioned that the material bunches up when you lace it up, but that's only if you pull the laces way too tight, I haven't had that issue at all. Because the material is so light you really don't need to break it in. The first day I wore them I used them for a work out that included a two-mile run and they felt very comfortable and buttery. I plan on using these exclusively for running and for workouts that include longer runs. Overall I think the shoe has great style, I got the moonbeam color which looks as though it has a slightly different design than some of the other colors. For the price, I would buy this shoe again and again!

I would not say they are for any sort of sports running or walking but for just an everyday pair of kicks they are amazing. They do not have great arch support and the sidewalls of the shoe are not very sturdy for any sort of sprinting or jogging. If you like lacing your shoe tightly this is not the shoe for you.I wear them everywhere because they are that comfortable and very lightweight. There is a bit of a break-in period for the heal of the shoe because it is a bit difficult to get them on when you first get them. I would have given them 5 stars but I noticed for the short period I have owned them the material is starting to pull away from the sole and I wonder how long they will actually last? I will be surprised if they go a year but I will buy another pair these are so comfortable.

These are a running shoe, a training shoe. With regards to mileage, I just finished with my first pair and ended up with exactly 300 miles on the shoes. I gave the shoes 5 stars as they completely fulfilled my objectives. They lasted 300 miles (4 weeks), were lightweight and held up well on pavement and crushed stone trail. Also at just under 40.00 I was more then satisfied. Being an ultramarathon runner I generally get 3-4 weeks from a running shoe, so to find a really inexpensive pair that held up was great. Longest run I took in these was a 22 mile run, but I have no doubt as to spring time runs of 28-30 they will be fine. Had no issue with the tongue as I always use a reef knot rather then a double knot. Start running on the second pair I purchased tomorrow.

I like these shoes- decent price for New Balance, lightweight, comfortable, and in this particular color, they look pretty decent as walking/work shoes, too. Found these on Amazon after getting a pair in another color at a NB outlet store and loving ‘em; wished I’d gotten another pair at the time. The Amazon price wasn’t quite as good as the closeout price at the outlet, but in enough of the ballpark to be a good buy. Some folks are creeped out by the lack of a completely independent tongue on this model; it’s sort of integrated or molded into the upper fabric- but once you get the shoes on, and they’re easy to slip into, it does what it’s supposed to do and I don’t mind it a bit. I think it adds to a cleaner look on the top of the shoe, for that matter. Very happy and comfortable with these guys.

I hd to send back my normal size, a 9EEE, for a size larger. I've had this variation in size before with New Balance so beware. I'm still giving it 5 stars for style and price. You may have noticed that price varies considerably with the color sub/style you choose. Mine were only $21 while others are substantially more. I assume construction is the same on all of them? Maybe the price is based on the current inventory? My price dropped slightly after I ordered.While it is sold as a running shoe (?) and is probably adequate for this purpose a serious high mileage runner would probably pay more to get more. If you can get the right price point as I did they are certainly worth a try as a general purpose/athletic/walking shoe.

I don't know if really this is original one. Although it looks good. Outer material is very thin. Soles of shoes seems of rubber. However it is extremely light weight. Purchased in 2400.00 with additional Christmas discount

Nach etwa 2 Monaten Nutzung war der obere Stoff an der großen Zehe zerrissen. Also für meinen Fuß völlig ungeeignet.Wer oft so eine Problem hat, soll vom Kauf fernhalten.Ansonsten ist alles in Ornung. Die Schuhe sind super bequem.

Son ligeras y de oferta un chollo. Las he hecho 200 km de momento y muy bien. Al principio, hay que domarlas y la amortiguación trasera es aceptable. Por la parte delantera un poco fina la suela, pero son unas todo terreno para correr por césped, asfalto o senderos ligeros. No aptas para días de lluvia y tallan más o menos correcto, aunque cada pie es un mundo.
