Grower's Solution Red Mulch - Garden - Plastic Film - 4ft. X 50ft. 1.0 Mil Embossed

I used this product last year and was amazed at the impact it had on our tomato plants. It was, by far, my best crop ever!!!! I reordered and have it on this year’s crop.

What is pictured appears much thicker than the product I received. 1 mil thick plastic is like tissue paper. Yes the description states 1 mil but that picture sure looks heavier. Beware, working with 1 mil plastic is a major hassle. The slightest breeze and it's aloft. I have used this product before. I have gotten 2 seasons out of it. Always a hassle but looks great when it's down. A real hassle to cut too. The weeds DO grow heavy below this plastic. Virutally impossible to determine if red is better than black. Not sure why I keep coming back to this product. Did I mention this stuff is a hassle to work with...

I've been growing tomatoes for years in Earth Boxes and using red plastic mulch film enhances their growth . Buying a large roll such as this is the most economical way to go . I can cut exactly what I need for each box and still have enough for the next year or two .

So far, so good! We are late getting the garden in this year due to excessive rain, but the mulch is holding up well and seems strong. My plants are doing well thus far -- mainly tomatoes and peppers are being helped with this mulch.

This red plastic film is probably one of the biggest disappointments I've purchased for my gardening needs. It's tissue thin, it was sent folded in a square & mailed in a plastic bag. It's so thin that as soon as I tried to maneuver it to fit the beds, & secure it with a garden staple it ripped. Very poor quality. I should've believed the other reviews. I threw it away as it was useless !!

Perfect for my garden at a great price. I bought a smaller piece last year for too much $ and was glad to find a good quality at a better price. Will clean and store after this season and use again next year.

Great material to use in your garden. I use it every year to keep weeds out of the garden and control watering.

Used under tomatoes as advertised. Needs landscape staples to hold down
