Easy to use
I hand casted it around the edges of my 1 acre pond and it started to clear within about a week. Kept improving for the next 5-10 says until all surface weeds are gone. My pond looks beautiful, I have uses this before and the chemical seems to work for about two years, then you need to re-dose.

Yes this works on vegitation.
This product does not work well on duck weed and has little effect on moss. It is not intended to. This product is intended to work on larger plants. This is the first product that killed the invasive hydrilla type plants I have in my pond.

Not enough to treat our pond once
When this product arrived and I read the directions I realized this wasn't even enough for one full treatment of our third acre pond!I would've needed an additional 3 pounds.Too expensive and returned.I suggest you contact your local DNR to find out what specific chemicals they recommend for fish safe treatment. I found another product here on Amazon with the chemical that was recommended at less than half the cost. Plus I'll get 4 full treatments out of it. Of course, that's based on My pond size.
