When I received the box, it did not show the vacuum hose attachment. That was confusing because I thought the kit was not complete. However, once we opened the box, everything was included. I had help from hubby, but the Flexible Lint Remover is a really useful tool. We didn't try the drill attachment, and even so it was easy to use. He ran it up the vent from the dryer wall opening to wherever the vent goes.I helped track the tubes as the tool went up and down (we needed all of the 16 ft and I think we could have used a few more feet). The skinny bristle brush worked well to pull out the lint. I like that the tubes attached with a mechanical button lock connect. It's a little tough to take apart, but they have a tool that helps to take it apart. The button lock ensures that it doesn't disconnect in the vent - which is a very big plus. I don't need any more stuff stuck in the vent. :-) My husband was amazed at how much lint it extracted, since he tried to clean it once with a vacuum cleaner and thought he "got it all". Using the new tool, we got at least half a shopping bag of lint (more) out. Hello, no wonder my laundry was taking so long to dry!... It seems well made and we are planning to use it more often. For the vacuum part, we put it through the front lint vent and up the back of the dryer. Sometimes the lint got stuck in it, but we detached it from the vacuum and used the vacuum to suck out the lint from the skinny side, and/or used the metal wire piece from a coat hanger to clear it out. I'll still use it again because it got out more than a shop vac or vacuum cleaner would get out by themselves. Definitely worth it. Please note that prices seem to vary for the kit, so we may have paid a different price from the one currently offered. My recommendation is on the kit itself and it has definitely come in handy. Glad we got it, and even the hubby agreed.

Great product! A bit tough to connect and disconnect but no worries that you will lose a piece in the duct, either. We used a corded drill, and very impressed with the results. The dryer is once again a pleasure to use! The amount of accumulated dust and lint that we extracted from the duct was pretty impressive.

This dryer vent cleaner was so easy to use and it worked great! I couldn't believe the amount of lint we got out. I'm sure we prevented a dryer fire by using this device. Plus my clothes dry much more efficiently.

The rods that snap together and don't come apart are the best. No worries about losing a rod or having to tape and untape each section. The brushes cleaned my vent thoroughly, they're stiff and scrubbed really well. Don't put off cleaning your dryer vent, rigid hose, lint trap area, and also inside the dryer if you can remove the cover. This is cheaper and far less hassle than a house fire!You'll be shocked to find out how much lint is in the duct! The reduced air flow will also back lint up into your dryer eventually, causing another area of fire danger, the lint I pulled out of the motor area of my last dryer was like a blanket so I'm making sure that doesn't build up in my new dryer.I got quotes of $250 to $375 to clean my 2nd story 17 foot vertical vent. This should be done yearly, but who can or will spend that much every year??? And most of those people were going to use a kit just like this! I got this kit, needed one more rod but shoving my arm in the bottom vent was enough to reach the roof cap with the long brush attached, so I'll get an extension when I need to clean again to make it easier.Side note, I also got a cheap borescope/ endoscope for about the same price and was able to inspect all the way up to make sure I'd gotten everything. I highly recommend doing that, as I pulled so much out with the brush and assumed it was clear, but saw it wasn't and sent the brush back up for the rest until I saw daylight and clean metal.

This worked great! We used one of the brushes for the exhaust for our pellet stove and the other for our dryer exhaust. It was alarming how much stuff came out! This went together easily and worked perfectly with a standard drill. It made the 90 degree bend without any issues. There was a noticeable difference in the dryer after use.The only drawback was that I had a hard time pulling the attachments apart (uses a tab system) but my husband was able to do it and I figure I’d rather have it hard to pull apart than lose a piece 10’ into the wall so it wasn’t a big deal.
