My Grandmother had a steel kick stool in her kitchen many years ago. I sat on it at the kid's table durning large family gatherings and remember seeing my Grandmother who was not the slightest of people use it all the time to reach top shelves or that 'extra storage' above the kitchen cabinets.This is pretty much the EXACT same stool. It's tough, its solid and it gets the job done. My wife loves it and it fits discreetly under a kitchen chair or the table. Can't say enough how much of a great call this was. The Red matches most of our other Red kitchen items in our mid-century modern kitchen (If you happen to own "Nostalgia Electrics" it matches the red badge for their "Retro Series" line to a T).

It arrived in a protective plastic bag and the clips that hold on two of the wheels were gone. I went to the local hardware store and bought what I needed to fix it. No quality control

Unit came broken. Missing a clip that holds one of the wheels in place. Contacted casa pura and all they would do is offer me a 25% credit. When all I wanted was for them to send me the part. Casa Pura said to contact Amazon for the part. Contacted Amazon for the part I needed and was told to contact casa pura. Nice. So I just sent it back and bought a different brand.

This totally exceeded expectations- easy to assemble. Cute red for our kitchen- and with a 6ft hubby who likes to put things up high- I love the locking wheel feature. Would definitely recommend to buyers!!!

Love this step-stool! The color is so vibrant, it’s very sturdy, and it’s the perfect height for me to reach my top shelves.
