Super Pleased!
It was difficult finding the right sander/polisher for the job I had. I didn't want to spend $250-300 for one that I would not use everyday. I needed something that was dependable, safe, and efficient. This did the job. Very pleased with it.

Handle lasted about 15 minutes before it pulled the threads out.Pads are junk and came apart.Returned it and will try something else.

The Pad Quality and the Grease that comes with it....
I liked the fact that it came with some pads already, which at first, seemed like great quality. After one good use with each one of them, total 3, compound, polish, wax, ALL THREE OF THEM RIPPED OFF THE MACHINE! Id rather them just not include less than reliable, and non-desirable pads, because I would've bought the machine regardless of the pads, given it's the same one as the Bauer, and cheaper. But now i have to order pads and wait... With winter approaching, there's not many good days that I have on my days off that I can spend the bulk of my day after having just washed my car to do those three steps to prepare it for winter. So really, that's just an annoyance. The grease that comes with the machine sucks. Now I also have to wait until mechanical grease comes in through online order, which is another inconvenience and annoyance. Overall use of the machine is ok, kinda heavy, but that's a good thing when you are polishing top panels, you can use the weight of the machine and it's the perfect amount of pressure for paint correction. Using it on side panels, however, I feel like I am 90 years old with scoliosis. You get what you pay for for less than $50 for a polisher, and plus the added annoyance of pads flying off the polisher and grease that makes the mechanics of the device rattle like a maraca.

Great for a Novice Like Myself
I’ve been using a cheap rotary polisher from Harbor Freight for a few years now. One thing about a rotary polisher is it is quite difficult on black paint to not get holograms that look absolutely awful in sunlight. A DA polisher is really the modern way to polish your car. With that being said, really about any DA will have the same results for novice car detailers like myself. Really the only thing that is a drawback from using a cheaper unit like this one is noise, and build quality. This polisher is quite loud, really about as loud as my rotary. And the feel and finish is not the greatest. But it does get the job done without holograms.
