I have two young children who love colouring in. Their love of colouring in appears to pale in comparison to an apparent love of destroying the colouring pencils that enable them to do this. We have a pencil-case full of pencils of questionable durability with lead that may or may not sharpen to the point of utility. Seeing this set on Amazon for a very reasonable price I took the punt. So far they have been subject to a significant amount of benchmark testing (partially marking benches too) and they have stood up to this test. The colours are vibrant and provide decent coverage.

Strong pencils, my 2yo keeps on throwing them around, so far no tips have broken. Really impressed as I bought some other brand before that were a bit cheaper and I ended up throwing them as you could barely see the colour when drawing and they were breaking at first drop on the floor

The super resistant lead makes it hard to do anything with these, what a shame, these have a nice decent range of colours I wanted them to do well - regrettably they do not, they do not shade or blend well, they have a very limited basic use.

I picked these up cheap for the kids to doodle and colour with, good mix of colours. I was pleasantly surprised with the durability of the pencils, they have a sort of flex to them which is to reduce the lead breaking when the kids inevitably drop them. As a result there's a "waxy" feel to the colour and they're not brilliant for blending but if you want basic kids stuff then they're great.

Great product. My kids had same pencils but set of 12. Decided to order 36 as it's really good value for a money.Pencils are very soft when you colouring. Great choice of colours.
