bent right to get in spots that other brushes cannot reach.
thes brushes work well in small slots and grooves, they are too small for large areas, BUT they work really well for what they were designed for small areas and hard to reach places. I bought two sets.

Great Set of Angled Brushes, Highly Useful.
I do a lot of cleaning of trapped dirt and grit on most of my tools and the few pocket knives that I use the most. I own and operate a small but very good high-end residential installation company that focuses a lot on art installation, placement, art handling, unwrapping of expensive paintings in delicate frames and the hanging of these pieces. we also do installation of the heavier types of framed mirrors that need special handling in NYC's notoriously flimsy hollow board walls. And I am called upon to install pretty much anything that needs to be mounted on very tricky expensive stone covered walls.I use a lot of my tools very often, and as we are constantly cutting carefully through shipping and packing materials that are wrapped very well around relatively expensive and very fragile pieces of artwork, and delicate antique framed mirrors, etc. We use pocket knives the most often to carefully cut through the packing materials. They work better then razor knives do.We also use tons of wire cutters, drills, chisels and plenty of other stuff also. But since the pocket knives are our most used tools they need constant cleaning, oiling and sharpening. As do my wire cutters, our chisels, scissors and so on of course but not as often.Long ago I decided that learning how to clean and sharpen all of my equipment myself would cut down on constantly replacing them. I searched through all of the websites looking for these brushes and was very glad to find them on Amazon. I use these brushes a lot. They are wonderful. The pricing on them makes them easy to replace and I always have at least 4 sets that are still in their original packaging as spares, because if you use them wrong they will start splaying. The trick to these brushes is to recognize their limitations, and work with them, not against them. They reach into the tightest places in a pocket knife for example. But forcing them in and then over pressuring them while cleaning the dust and dirt out of crevices is going to ruin any set of cleaning brushes. Actually even a toothbrush that is being used in an over zealous and heavily pressured manner will start splaying out as well. This is why I don't agree with the reviewer who used them a couple of times, figuring they should be able to handle pure pressure and force and wound up splaying them after a few uses. Once you have these guys inside the crevice, you are not supposed to use them like they are hammers! All you need to do is lightly brush the accumulated dust, dirt and grime out of the crevices. With the least amount of pressure used. After all these are for cleaning out your tools not for polishing them!I really like their angle settings, and using them gently is even more effective then trying to scrub your crevice with all of your strentgh. It is using the same principle I use for precision drilling into expensive stone walls to install high end bath ware, where I cannot allow even 1/32 of an inch of slippage as I drill. I let the drill do the work.. Same method when cutting with a hand saw. let the saw do the work. And if you just let the brushes do the work, they last a pretty long time.By now I keep the brushes from splaying pretty much for months of usage each. I cannot picture cleaning any of my stuff without them!! I haven't needed to open up a spare set in quite a while. And I consider these brushes completely indispensable. There is just nothing in the market that i have come across that works better then these. So that is why I am highly recommending them. They are really excellent. I am completely "addicted" to having them always on hand and I could not imagine ever cleaning anything again without using these brushes. Try them out, and remember to let them do the work. And don't use them at full strength. These are not heavy duty polishing brushes!. This turned into a long review somehow, I guess I wanted to include the background information to help explain how good these brushes really are by using an informed setting as a general guideline.

Great for small crevices
The only product I found that can get into small crevices (e.g. underneath an extractor).
