All About Weather: A First Weather Book for Kids

It isn't for little kids, like I thought it would be. I bought it for my 2 year old but it's way too advanced for her. I wish it was simpler for little kids, or had illustrations for older kids. It's an odd mix of young pictures with text for older kids.

I love everything about the book. My 5 year old loves it even more. The author wrote this book in a way that kids and adults will have a clear understanding about the weather.

My girls are 5 and 3 and this book was perfect for them! Simple, factually accurate, and beautiful illustrations. Highly recommend.

I got this book for my 1yr old and just simplified the text by only reading the first few sentences on each page for a while and as she got used to reading longer books and was more interested in weather I added the rest. She is now 2 and loves this book, she has no fear of thunder, lightning or strong winds and we go out on the porch to watch storms pass. She likes that it shows kids and happy clouds.

Love this book for my 3 year old. He enjoys it and its great for learning about seasons and weather!

All About Weather is such an engaging text, with scientific facts sprinkled through-out. The well organized structure of the text combined with the use of text features make this an excellent early informational book. The interactive components are ideal for an interactive read aloud for any child! As a literacy coach, I would highly recommend this book for anyone working with young children.

What a phenomenal book about weather. There is so much detail and information for all ages to love and understand. My 9yr old loved it . I myself enjoyed it also.

Here is a delightful, well written book to introduce the 2-5 year olds to the weather. Every time they hear the story they will learn something new. The bright colors and easy to understand story and facts will keep your little ones coming back time and again. The illustrations are vivid and eye catching. I highly recommend this book. What is weather? Step outside. What does the sky look like? What does it feel like? That is the weather. Weather changes all the time. Nestled inside this book are many facts about the weather and many fun times await with the reading. Don't get wet!

A great introduction to the weather for kids. I’mNot sure why, but I was expecting a board book and something aimed at slightly younger children (my son is 20months), but a lovely book about The weather with a diverse cast of children that we will use when he is a little older.

It was a very informative book, id say unless your child is a super good reader, this book uses words more aimed at grades 1 and 2 .
