Bad out of box
Installed the new starter and it did nothing but get hot when trying to start vehicle.The return process was quick and easy though and I received a full refund.

The starter itself works great, if after replacement your "starter" still makes noise honda TSB recommends rotating flywheel one bolt hole.

It’s not from Japan, so…
Encountered the same issue as with the previous starter for my 2014 Honda Accord V6 Coupe being, intermittent push button start with that annoying and embarrassing sound

Damaged
Starter would start the car when the engine was cold but wouldn't start the car after turning it off when the engine was at operating temp. Bought a used honda starter and it worked fine.

Failed after two months. What a disappointment.
I couldn’t be more disappointed. A starter that failed after two months of use. I also have to pay for the labor to replace it once again.
