Product itself was fine as was the shipping package. The original manufacturer packaging was warped and obviously water damaged—which in itself would not have been a concern. It was the overwhelming smell resembling mold that was horrible.

Well if you have tiny baby mice maybe it works but I doubt it. This product is made from cheap brittle plastic & did not work. I wanted so badly for this to work as poison is just bad for the environment & other animals including your own pets if your not super careful. The part that is supposed to flip the mice into the water is not balanced well enough to even slather on peanut butter to attract the little buggers. If you put anything at the tip it just hangs down & I mean even a half ounce (I weighed it) of peanut butter will drop the tip. It is way expensive for what it is. I couldn't return as we tried several tricks to get it to work which altered the product so we are stuck with an expensive piece of brittle plastic that isn't even recyclable. My hubby has one more idea but I am dubious at best. He just hates buying something that doesn't work as advertised. Do not waste your money. Amazon & other places now sell a product called RatX or MouseX that is a type of poison but only to rodents. This finally seems to be working. Finally. Oh the only reason this got any stars is that's the only way to leave a review.

This thing looks like the work of a first-grader. It's slightly too small for a five-gallon bucket, I had to file around the trapdoors' edges to remove the remnants of the manufacturing breakaway tabs, so that they would swing freely. Other than grooves in the cover, nothing secures each door's pivot pins, so I foresee a feisty mouse or two causing them to move out o'sf position, rendering the whole thing purely ornamental in the scenery of my workshop. In short, I don't think it's calumny against it's manufacturer to say it's overpriced by about $25.

I ordered this mose flip top bucket because I had heard really good things about this style of trap. I am a seasonal camper and a few of our neighbors use a similar trap during the off season and have been successful. Thankfully in the past years we saw remnants that a critter had been there but I think they were just passing through because we never caught or saw anything. I have this trap set up currently and so far we haven't caught anything but thats not a bad thing because that means there is a hgh possibility that there are no mice inside. The logic of it seems to be a good contraption. It is easy to put together. All the pieces just snap on to each other, all you need is a 5 gallon bucket and bait. The kit comes with everything else. I am hopeful this will work while at the same time I hope we dont catch anything as that would mean we had critters in our space!

We have been using several different types of mouse traps, but with this one we don't have any need for anything else. We kill more mice with this in one night than we did with 6 mouse traps. We keep it out in the breezeway and have not had a mouse inside the home since we started using it
