Yamaha LC-930A Locking Hi-Hat Clutch

My Yamaha stand came with a locking clutch. While it's a great clutch, it requires a drum key to unlock it. I got tired of unlocking every time I travel, so I picked this up. This clutch works well and I don't have to fumble with a key to release it every time. It has not come undone yet, and it seems to be very high quality. I'm happy with it.

These clutches are simply a great product. I finally replaced the first one I had after 25 years of regular playing!!!! Anyone who plays a lot knows that this is an extraordinary amount of time to have a clutch without threading issues. Great product.

Works as expected

Excellent replacement clutch. Just like my original. I did not realize how worn my original was until i used the new clutch. What a difference!

if you have not tied a locking hihat clutch - or if you ever have to screw you hihat due to it loosens due to your heavy hitting or you just do not have a good Clutch - this is a great option - and how do you go wrong for the price - i will try anything for $10-$20

This is a great clutch, and is pretty much my go-to clutch. I always keep one on hand in my cymbal bag -- I've shown up to gigs or rehearsals and there's no clutch on the hi-hat stand. I also use this as my daily driver as well.

This product was exactly what I was looking for and the right price for me.
