Love, Henri: Letters on the Spiritual Life Paperback – 21 September 2017

It was my first time reading a book by Henri S J Nouwen . This book is a guide to grow spiritually . Their are certain moments in everyone's life when it becomes hard to console a person . He has given voice to those feelings . This book leaves you speechless . It provides an insight into the life of writer as well . It shows how not to lose hope and believe in god in difficult times in life .

Great selection of letters that allows the reader to follow the life of Heni Nouwen. The editor has done an excellent job of providing just enough back-ground information to identify the recipient of the letter and put it into context. The letters have an immediacy that brings Nouwen alive, and show a depth that goes beyond the books that he wrote. Highly recommended.

This is a great insight into a man who did so much for other people

An eloquent collection of letters, skillfully woven together with insightful reflections by editor. I learned so much about this inspired theologian - his humanity, his human relationships.

Outstanding book. The author does a great job giving background info on each of Henri Nouwen's letter. Through each letter you are able to see Nouwen's heart and love for Christ. I have enjoyed this book greatly and if you are a Nouwen fan, this is a must have.

Love all of Henri Nouwen books, he never disappoints.
