Beautiful painting,unusual colours....very happy with the canvas,paints n picture.

4 stars as it comes folded. iron on the back with steam to take the crease out. do NOT rub the spaces if you make a mistake with water to remove the error the pattern comes off. opps. i was able to fix it. dip your brush in clean water to keep it moist and keep the paint more liquid and flowing. light coats and more of them works well. and yes i framed it. a good magnifying glass with light is very helpful. one that clamps to your table. ( hint and not that it was their fault, if you don't get the lid on tight and it starts to dry out , add a bit of clean water. like 3 or 4 drops and stir)

This is a good kit. The numbers are clear (unless you go to wash off a blot of wrong paint and rub too hard, like I did; oops.) The paints are nice and smooth and not all dried out like some kits. I never use the brushes that come with kits, so I can't speak to that. My one big complaint is that the folded canvas never loses its creases. I've stretched it, ironed it, even ironed with steam. I have other ones that I stretched onto canvas before painting, and some after painting. Every one still has creases. If you can afford to spend a little more, get the ones with rolled canvases.

I enjoyed doing this painting, and I've already ordered a second one. The finished product is very nice, if I do say so myself. The numbers are tiny in some spaces. A magnifying glass helped out. I recommend you paint the lighter colors first and then the darker ones. Some of the colors took a few coats to get full coverage. Some reviewers claimed there was not enough paint provided. I had plenty of paint, except for the black, but that was easy to supplement. The canvas comes folded with several creases. I ironed it flat before beginning the paint process.

My favorite one yet! My friends/family have commented how beautiful this one is! Appropriate for an “advanced beginner”.
