Scanmask Beneficial Nematodes, Steinernema feltiae Sf Nematodes for Natural Insect Pest Control (10 Million)

We spent so much time and money trying to get rid of fungus gnats on our houseplants before we read about nematodes — first hydrogen peroxide and when that didn’t work, multiple applications of mosquito bits “tea”, and diatomaceous earth. These helped negligibly. The nematodes completely eliminated the fungus gnats within 3 days of application. No new ones on our yellow sticky traps. This package size is enough for two 4 gallon treatments (if I calculated correctly). We don’t even need to use the second treatment! I highly recommend this for fungus gnats, and this will be our go-to product if we ever have a fungus gnat problem again in our houseplants.

I brought home a plant for myself from a local nursery that, unbeknownst to me, was infested with fungus gnats. I've never had them before, so it took me a while to figure it out. By the time I realized what was going on, the offending plant had infested my other 20+ houseplants. I tried Neem oil (does absolutely nothing for fungus gnats), and ordered the yellow sticky plant stakes as well. And while the stakes work for catching and killing flying gnats (and random house flys and getting stuck to my cat's underbelly), they do nothing to get to the root of the problem--which is destroying the eggs that the gnats lay in moist soil. I ended up laying as many of the stakes as I could horizontally over the top soil of my plants, as the gnats crawl over it and don't fly around all the time. This helped a little.But the Nematodes? At this point I would have to say the fungus gnats are eradicated! From 20+ plants! For the first application, I started with dry soil in all plants. I used a spray bottle to moisten the top soil, then followed the directions for the mixture of nematodes. I watered all the plants with the water mixture with a regular watering can. (I put all of the sticky stakes back over the surfaces). About 2 weeks later, I mixed up a more potent batch and transferred it to a spray bottle. I completely saturated the entire surface of each plant with the water.I have not seen one gnat in over a week. I can't even believe it. I still have about 390,000 nematodes left, so I may mix up one more batch, but I couldn't be happier.

Buy it! This saved my beautiful wisteria plant. It was COVERED in spider mites and their wed nests, it dropped most of the leaves, it looked almost dead. I hung a package of these and within 2 weeks - not a single spider mite was left, and there is new growth showing, my wisteria will survive! 10/10 would recommend! Fantastic product!

I used this in my indoor plants soil to get rid of knats and the like. It works well. Bugs were gone in less than a month.

I was at my wits end battling these nasty little buggers. I’ve tried EVERYTHING…to no avail.Stumbled upon these beauties and decided…what more can I lose? If they don’t work…it’s outside for my plants …sadly.Welp, I’m happy to report it worked. I’m not sure if I administered properly and honestly…I probably over did it but hey….it worked and my yellow stickies have less and less gnats daily. The Zivo is also not as full.I am ordering another batch of the 10k and will use them next month just to make sure the infestation is remediatedIf you are battling fungus gnats…do yourself a favor and buy these.Only con is the instructions don’t provide much direction so I used half a bag with 1 gallon and viola…the 2nd half a week later

Does Not Work! I have used nematodes for ant control in my garden for years but this was my first time trying this brand. I followed all instructions and applied this product 4 times now over a month. The last time was at twice the recommended amount and it has done nothing to the ant population. In fact it seems like there are more ants than a month ago.The product arrived in an insulated cold pack and was immediately placed in the refrigerator upon arrival. The garden was pre-watered before application and the nematodes were applied at night. Four times!Don’t waste your money or time.

A bunch of my plants had fungus gnats since I probably used the wrong soil mixture or overwatered them. I tried so many different things to get rid of them and this completely solved the problem. I had to use these nematodes for two watering sessions but after that the fungus gnats disappeared. I also had lots of sticky traps placed throughout my plants to kill adult gnats.

I use this product every spring after any chance of freezing and it eliminates the coddling moth in apple and pear trees. No more worms in my apples or pears.
