Had to have this movie. Our Marine son was stationed in the Philippines as the Detachment Commander when a Hollywood producer asked if he'd like to be in a movie. He's the guy with the dimple who shouts out a couple of lines in the helicopter before it went down. Pretty bad movie, but we always watch the first five minutes.

1.78/5.1 I like that. Anything that I say after I say "war" is redundant. I did a search in my spreadsheet for "war". No more words followed. War automatically includes lots of shooting, lots of explosions and, best of all, helicopters. Oh and it also includes punching and kicking. So war is lots of violence and action. I got this recommendation from Facebook advertisement.

all in all entertaining - not even close to real Marines though. Semper fidelis.

This movie is your typical B-movie. Decent plot. Decent acting. But, I could only make it 30 minutes into the movie before I had to call it quits. I really hate it when I have to struggle to hear the actors speak over the cheesy music. The music was very annoying and about drove me crazy. I could hardly hear what they were saying. You know it's amateur hour when film makers use music to hide every thing else. I would rather watch a full -bad- movie with bad acting than 'background' music that's in the foreground.Too bad, it could have been a decent movie for a B-movie

I love the movie only because it has Mark Dacascos in it, he is great in any movie or show that he is in.Jolene Shelley
