I use this book as a reference manual in training my dog. I like the way of training these dogs. He is a fast learner, and the click and treat system makes it fun. I enjoy seeing his progress daily.

Alot of helpful info.

Do not buy this book. It teaches you nothing. For example, it says about a growling dog: Your dog should never growl at you. I'm fairly certain I knew that but it tells you nothing about how to stop. thankfully that's not a problem we have. This is also clicker based training. Other than the short history of the English Spaniel at the beginning you can tell this book is generic for all breeds. The words Spaniel and English Springer are inserted where it might have said Boxer in the previous printing. I would have returned except my Spaniel chewed it. Not very Alpha of me to let him do that. This was not helpful in any way.
