MovoPhoto AF Macro Extension Tube Set for Nikon 1 AW1, J1, J2, J3, JF, S1, S2, V1, V2, V3 Mirrorless Cameras with 10mm, 16mm and 21mm Tubes (Metal Mount)

I have been searching for a way to get a good image of Kodak 110 negative disks.The negatives are only 1/2 x 2/3 in.These fit well and autofocus on my Nikon 1.

I ordered these because I needed to take a photo of aphids infesting a cauliflower from my garden and just could not focus close enough for a good photo with any of my 1NIKKOR lenses. As hoped, these completely solved the problem, working well with each lens I tested and with my Nikon 1 J4 body.The best problem solved was being able to shoot great macros with the lens 2 feet away from the subject, by using all three of these extension tubes on my 1NIKKOR 70-300 VR lens set to 300mm. Unsurprisingly, I needed to use my tripod to get a sharp photo under available light indoors, due to the tiny depth of field, but the result entirely met my need.Best of all, these are a real bargain compared to buying a dedicated macro lens, if one even existed for my camera without adapters.Highly recommended!

The 16mm, and 21mm rings are difficult to mount, as they are very tight, but optically they work fine. However, the 10mm ring is extremely tight, and would not lock in the correct position, so I can not use it, because there is no electrical contact between the camera and the actual lens. I may have received a product that has slipped through quality control.Overall, the product looks well built, but you should not have to over torque any of these tubes in order to mount them, and possibly cause some damage to the camera.

I just started playing around with the Nikon 1 camera system after using pro equipment for many many years, it has gotten to be too much to lug around everywhere when just shooting casually for myself. I wasn't expecting much from these because of the low price. I was shocked at what great quality photos I am able to get. If you aren't used to macro shooting you will need to play around with them a bit. But these go everywhere my camera goes now.

Nice "toy" in an endearing and photo quality fashion, because it is very difficult to obtain good quality macro photos with these tubes as in a proper macro lens, but is the only option we have for the Nikon 1 system to do so. Well, I expect that to be the case.Mechanically they work great though, sometimes there are flimsy digital connections, not in this case.

Fantastic value. I've waited long enough for Nikon to produce a micro lens for the Nikon 1, these do the job. I used them with my 70-300cx lens and the detail of the shots is phenomenal. AF is fast with these. I spent a few months reading reviews in the various photo forums about Nikon 1 series tubes, these came out on top because of their metal construction.

Tubes work well with lighter lenses, but when used with the F mount adapter they will flex and loose contact connection. Works like a charm with my 30-110 Nikon 1 mount lenses. A good product for the money.

Solid construction, precise mating, mostly I think because they are metal rather than plastic like some others. I am using these with a Nikkor 105mm macro lens, via an FT-1 adapter, for even closer access to subject. The photo shows the setup with a V1 body, a more or less permanent arrangement now that I use my V2 and V3 bodies for other purposes.

Buon prodotto, diminuisce molto la distanza focale, si arriva a poggiare gli oggetti sulla lente frontale. Questo è del pepe macinato su un filtro uv montato sopra l'obiettivo

Il range di messa a fuoco ovviamente si riduce molto (testato su 30-110), ma in quel range la maf è rapida e precisa, anche con i tre tubi insieme. L'innesto a baionetta è perfetto. Consigliato.
