I've drifted away from the darker roast coffees over the years as they seem to be bitter, burnt, and less enjoyable. After reading the reviews on this brand I decided to give it a shot and was not disappointed. This is absolutely delicious coffee. I bought it especially for camping and for use in my Bozeman percolator and was so impressed that I'm going to buy some to have at home as well.

This is a great coffee bean. Rich in a bold taste. I grind my beans and perk my coffee using coletti percolator. My son said I went back in time. That's ok this is better than coffee that is already ground and who knows for how long. Better than the high price pods.

Drink coffee black it lacks in depth of richness. If you like a light to medium roast you will like it

I am subscribing to this product! I’m a former Peets person. I like the Italian roast, it’s considered dark. I’ve found Colleti’s Yosemite to be more satisfying than Peets Italian. It is rich and smooth. I am a supporter of veteran owned businesses.

I brew all my coffee with a press. I did a 15 to 1 ratio, 200° water like I do everyday... brewed for 4 minutes. This stuff is horrible. No aroma upon opening the bag. No aroma when the coffee bloomed and no taste. It's possible I got a stale bag not about to order another one to find out.Update:I made this coffee again recently same bag (left it rolled up tight no air) took it camping made it again French press 15 to 1 ratio 4 and 1/2 minutes Brew time 202° water temperature and the person I'm camping with said it was the best coffee I made all week. LolI thought it was good. This time I noticed it had coffee flavor. Mellow to my standards I must just really like strong dark coffee. That's my updated review.
