Dr. Annie Dove Denmark: South Carolina's First Female College President Paperback – Illustrated, 11 February 2011

I particularly enjoyed reading about the in-depth journey of this amazing woman and the support she had from her peers and college board. Her place in Anderson University history is legendary, and her place in South Carolina history is even more fascinating. I'm grateful that so many pulled together all pieces of her her story and organized it into a book that serves well as a reference book and as thoroughly enjoyable reading. A must for all libraries and every southerner's bookshelves.
