This ironing board is smaller than your standard ironing board, which makes it perfect for a student dorm, studio apartment or a sewing room. We live in a house, but I sew blankets and it's convenient to keep it in my sewing room. I love it!

The ironing board cover is thick and feels well-made. I always "add" covers over each other to get a soft, plump thickness, so there're about 6 covers under this one. The fit, therefore is a bit tight, which means it would fit a previously bare board perfectly.Installation was a cinch: fit the elasticized cover over the board's nose first, adjust the wrinkles out, pull it back while eyeballing centered-ness, then stretch it around the back and under the end of the board to position it. Smooth wrinkles from the middle of the cover to the outsides. When centered to taste, clip together the two elastic strips which hang from the sides to secure the cover in place. Quick, easy, and no drawstrings hanging down after installation (because they are not there to begin with!)My ironing board is stored ready-to-use in my clothes closet. I have been surprised by the calmness I feel when I open the closet door and see that cover first thing: I did not expect this perk.

This product is pretty nice... the fabric seems to be of a decent heft and there is a good amount of padding. Endurance to be determined.It has a fairly tight fit, which is nice, but the elastic strap that runs across underneath and is meant to keep it taught, is misplaced for my ironing board. It is right where the legs of the ironing board move to collapse the board.I would improve it with non-elastic straps underneath that are adjustable, placed fore and aft to avoid the legs.I saved the old Velcro straps from my previous cover and am hoping to sew them onto this one.(We'll see if that ever happens!)

Make sure you know the size of your ironing board before you order the cover. I didn't know that was a thing. I thought an ironing board was an ironing board. How I was wrong! This was way too damn big, like a moomoo on a hillbilly mama, just to damn big.

This is a thick pad and has a nice poppy design. It is not cotton, but mostly polyester. The pad has elastic hooks that go under the ironing board and connect to keep the pad on the board. The top hooks go right where the handle for the ironing board is. Mine caught in the handle and tore off, which caused the top of the pad not to fit as tightly as it could. I also had to tuck the side of the pad under the handle, otherwise, it pushed against the handle and would cause the ironing board to fall (which caused me to laugh at the absurdity of it until I figured out how to fix it). Even with these issues, it is still a better pad for the money than those I've seen at most stores. Overall, however, I would recommend that if you can find something better, you do.

It was past time to replace the ironing board cover. I had searched for a replacement one for some time but never found one I really liked. Until now.The Westex ironing board cover hit all the marks—well padded, elastic edge hugs the ironing board with two elastic straps with fasteners on the underside of the cover to ensure the cover stays in place. The cover provides a good ironing surface. To top it off, the poppy pattern is so cheerful and pretty. Well done Westex. Thank you Amazon. 😊

I'm happy with this ironing board cover - it seems sturdy, has nice padding, looks very pretty in my space. My only complaint would be that even with the tightening band underneath it is still quite loose. Maybe my ironing board is more narrow than normal. Unless it melts the first time I use it - haha - I would purchase it again.

Couldn’t get the cover to flatten properly, too loose, wasn’t fitting tightly enough and with just the one tightening band in Centre, other parts of the cover were loose. Returned item.
