They are zippers, so what can I say. A good selection of different sizes and types of zippers. I'm not a professional tailor or sewer but I could use this kit to repair a sofa cushion cover. My wife wanted to get rid of the whole sofa instead 😆! So fo the same cost I should pay to repair the cover (or god knows how much less for changing the sofa), I got this kit and so many zippers left for the future repairs$$$$
