definitely helpful if you have a small laptop and need some extra screen to do more work.. can pack and take it on trips, works like a charm

Reviewing after 2 month's of usage.The packaging was good and it came in HPs original packaging.The USB-C cable came with the packaging and the display is supported on Lenovo legion Y540 and Lenovo Ideapad T14 laptops.This is a sturdy monitor with good strong bezels and the overall construction does not seem fragile but quiet robust.I had no issues setting the display with my laptops and it was entirely plug-n-play and it immediately started working without any complaints.The brightness and color is quiet good, only small complaint is that the brightness cannot be set to very low, the lowest setting feels brighter than that of the lowest setting of the laptop's built in display...A solid and useful purchase for people working from home!Definitely recommended.

Over priced, under-featured( Only Type-C, no hdmi ),Settings buttons could have been on the side.Could have been much more lighter.Feels a bit delicate.Would I recommend this to others?If and Only if,they need this particular portable monitor for their work!Else look for better options.

I have been using this product for a few weeks now the screen quality is decent and it is light weight my only issue is after purchase only after a few days the seller has reduced the price by 1k. And a renewed version is also available for 3.5k less. The feeling of buysers remorse right now 😓.

Screen is not anti glare as described.

Beware: HP does not repair / replace this monitor in case of display issues. Only possibility is during first 7 days of purchase as per Amazon policy. In my case, I realized white spot on the screen after 1 month of use as I mostly worked with dark background settings. Once the issue was found, I contacted HP (through their pathetic customer service; they simply transfer the call across various internal departments). To my surprise, most of the HP people I talked / visited my house for product inspection, were not even aware of this product. Finally I was told that this issue is not covered in warranty and also can not be repaired.Seems it was my mistake to choose HP expecting better customer support.No issues with Amazon delivery and seller as sealed product was received within 24 hours after ordering.Overall monitor is good (ignoring this white spot), though usb c thunderbolt connection is needed. Stand quality is average, not sure how long it will last. No tilt, rotate adjustments are possible.

I contacted HP Care before purchasing this product as well as asked a question in question section. But both the people miss guide me stating that this will support my laptop. I got the delivery of this product today and once I connect it, powers up but no video signal from the type c port. So, I don't recommend this product if your usb type c doesn't have alt mode or thunderbolt support. Now I'm returning this product.

The screen doesn’t work with all type-c port. And i was misguided by amazon to buy it saying it will work.Wastage of money.

This was really handy for my HP ellitbook laptop at work, Specially when I had meetings and 121 instead of having to flip my laptop I could just bring this, plug to my laptop and show easily 2m apart what I wanted to show, the concept is just purely brilliant and amazing!However! the laptop requires to have/support thunderbolt, so now that I have a new company laptop Asus this no longer works with it which ia really disapointing.So make sure you check if your laptop can support this portable monitor before buying it.It does consume your laptop battery and you can use extend mode as well as duplicate.It's not very heavy and was the same sime as my Hp ellitbook so really easy to transport around with me in a warehouse.

This portable monitor looks great with solid build and good quality performance and brightness

Soy programador y estuve de viaje por Asia durante un mes. Esta pantalla portatil me permitió poder seguir trabajando con dos pantallas en todos los sitios donde estuve. Yo la conecto a mi macbook pro a través del puerto thunderbolt 3 y funciona sin problemas. Además me la llevo en la mochila siempre que voy a trabajar en algún coworking. Ocupa muy poco espacio.La pantalla no tiene alimentador propio, lo que es bueno porque te quita cables y necesidad de enchufarla. Evidentemente se alimenta de la batería del portátil. Entiendo que esta es la razón principal por la que no tiene demasiado brillo. El brillo es lo que más batería gasta... Si "necesitas" una segunda pantalla con un brillo intenso (como las pantallas de los mac) esta no es la pantalla que estás buscando. A veces hay que moverla un poco para eliminar reflejos (ventanas, luces, etc) pero el que funcione con un único cable es algo que valoro mucho.La funda protectora que trae protege la pantalla de arañazos, lo cual evita que tengas que comprar una funda. La funda se convierte en la base de la pantalla. El problema que le veo es que tiene una inclinación única. Fácilmente solucionable metiéndole papel por debajo de la pantalla para ajustarlo.Algo a mejorar sería poder elegir la inclinación de la pantalla. En general ha sido una buena compra.

Ho comprato questo monitor per abbinarlo al mio surface pro 7. Tenendo in considerazione le controparti asus, ho deciso di provare questo HP perchè di dimensioni inferiori.La costruzione si presenta molto solida e ben fatta, purtroppo la qualità dello schermo è veramente pessima.La luminosità è a malapena visibile all'aperto e mostra dei colori scavati e pertinente veritieri. Se volessi fare un paragone, sembra un monitor di tablet android di 5-6 anni fa.Ultima nota dolente, non so se era un difetto del mio prodotto, ma appena si muove il connettore usb-c dall'unità l'immagine sparisce e per riaverla bisogna spegnerlo e riaccenderlo.Sia chiaro, basta spostare il monitor sul tavolo per avere dei piccolissimi movimenti del cavo e l'immagine salta.Vivamente sconsigliato l'acquisto.

Check, double check and triple check if this USB3 (type C) only screen will be compatible with your devices. Tried to use it off the USB3 port on my NUC, but got power and no data. So it’s not a matter of only having a USB3 port. It worked beautifully when connected to a mate’s HP laptop. So, overall it looks like it could be a great screen...if only it did what I bought it for...
