Great reference chart
I think this might be a bit overwhelming for beginners - but it is organized so that you can start with the basics - in say C and there are the main chords - C, Dm, Em, F, G, Am all grouped in a line. Then a line under that starting in D and so on. You could even fold it up - so it is about a foot square just to display that section. I think that it is the way that most people learn (before applying that in the thousands of songs that use chords in the 1-6 relationship). I certainly find it useful - because I tend to play other stringed instruments much more than I play uke - so a quick visual check is handy! This is a very large poster - but it is strong and should last for years. Would not look out of place in a music classroom for professional teachers.

A durable poster with a lot of information on it
Short version: A very durable poster with a lot of good information on it. But, I think it's more appropriate for use as a reminding tool than for learning from directly. It is very large, make sure you have space.Long version: It really is a very durable poster. It feels like plastic coated canvas, and has a nice matte finish. It is also very well packaged arriving in a stylish, high quality envelope about the size of an LP.In addition to chord shapes, there is a lot of music theory content on this poster, all of it useful and worth learning. But, for a beginner I advise learning what it all means from another source, whether that's from a teacher, a book, and/or online. That's not taking away from the quality of the poster, I just think it's intended to be used as a reminder (asking a poster to teach music theory would be a bit unfair). It is very large, as the first picture shows. Bear that in mind. All in all I think it's a high quality poster with a lot of good content and I'm happy to give it a full five stars.I hope you found this review helpful. If so, please press the button :)

A carefully packed and protected plastic poster...
This huge poster is folded and protected really well - with cardboard inside and outside, wrapped in plastic too, and I would say it is certain that this will arrive appropriately. This feels like a plastic tablecloth and is wipe clean. You can see the dimensions from above, but this is truly a huge poster, ideal for a bedroom wall and it has all the relevant issues for a Uke - including the chords, the scales and tuning. There is also a section about transposing and the circle of fourths and fifths too. This is all big enough to read and to stand in front of with your Uke and practice until you get there!A thoughtful idea as a gift for your child or relative who wants to achieve something that sounds musical with their instrument - so much like this is seen for the guitar but at last this is for the Uke.Great value and well thought through!

Very advanced
This contains a LOT more info than I realised! I thought it would basically be a chord chart with a neck diagram. Nope. This is clealry intended for people playing ukulele as a serious instrument and as such contains a great deal of esoteric knowledge that was totally lost on me. Lots of stuff regarding alternate tunings and other things that are unlikely to concern the casual ukulelist, but also with a lot of basic info as well. I'd say this is great for a school or a serious player of the instrument but for the layplayer, I think it is probably more than you want.

Great Uke chord chart - but some easier chords available!
I have wanted a ukulele chord chart such as this for the past 18 months - since I took up playing the uke so was looking forward to getting it. It is a HUGE chart - needs a really big wall to fit it on but it's made of a durable material and should last many years. The chords and extra information are really clearly readable which is great. So, why 4 rather than 5 stars? Well there are a few chords which have alternative - and much easier ways to play them - I am thinking of C7 and D7 in particular - but I am sure there are lots more of them. Particularly for beginners it is important to have the easiest way to play a chord possible, so to overcomplicate these chords is a bit of a pain. And that's why I've given it 4 stars!

Ukulele Chart
This is much bigger than I'd expected but having recently reviewed a Ukulele, it seemed a good idea to try to learn how to play it! This poster comes extremely well wrapped, if not a tad overly so, and folds out to give a chart poster measuring 24x47inches. It is a canvas laminated so it is waterproof and doesn't give off a glare when up.The chart itself is OK, a tad confusing in places, especially to a complete beginner to music as well as the Ukulele but it does seem to have everything I need to get started. It is easy to read and understand with the cream background and blue writing but if like my partner who is dyslexic, may be a struggle with the colour and background choices.Overall, a decent chart and certainly a good place for me to start.

Really good
I like this. I'm going to start trying to learn how to play the ukulele (I have great sympathy for my son, my cat and my neighbours, lol) and this is going to be really helpful. It's very clear and informative, oh and big. It is easily seen from a good couple of metres away from the wall it's on.It is well made, with a sort of vinyl cloth type feel about it, not the card I thought it was going to be.I think it's a really good idea for beginners to playing the ukulele, probably easier than following a book and having to keep the pages open while you look at what your hands are doing. I love it.
