Little Live Pets - Ruffles My Dream Puppy

PLEASE!! Do not waste your money purchasing this item! It is SO cute, BUT there is a flaw in the manufacturing process that causes the toy to malfunction within the first month or two or ownership. Just like MANY of the other negative reviews our puppy started making the same, repetitious noise after 3 weeks. We assumed it was time to replace the batteries, but we took about 3 weeks to get around to replacing them. Once we did we discovered that the puppy continued to make the same repetitious noise - it was a defective puppy. What a disappointment for the little girl who was THRILLED with the gift, and what a disappointment for the parents who plunked down a huge chunk of change on a gift that broke with 3 weeks! Unfortunately we are not in the minority as this is happening to many other buyers. What a POORLY made product. The company should offer full refunds as a sign of honor and integrity to compensate for poor manufacturing on their end!

The movements and sound on these are amazingly real, but downside is that I ordered two different Little Live Pets for my 2 grandsons and one worked only for about 30 minutes and then the sound got stuck and repeated over and over. Amazon is great, I followed instructions and returned it and they refunded me the full amount. The 2nd pet broke down the same way after 3 months... must be a sound chip inside that breaks down? I did not replace this one since I had a special offer and paid nearly nothing for the 2nd pet. No doubt the children loved it when they received it, I would not recommend these Little Live Pets... not a lasting toy.

Our daughter got the snuggle pup for christmas and has really enjoyed it. Our son wants to play too but sharing was causing some fights. With his birthday approaching we looked to see if we could find him his own pup. This was so perfect. It has all the same features but looks Completely different so no confusion on who's is whose. He looks shaggy but his fur so so soft. He has already been dropped a couple of times but has not damaged him. Best birthday gift and couldn't be happier.

My daughters Snuggles was stolen, so I bought Ruffles to replace Snuggles and it did the job. In fact we love Ruffles more. It’s so cute, soft and snugly and does everything Snuggles did.

I appreciated finding the product and prompt delivery.

My grandson who is 7 had seen this on Tv and wanted it. I thought it was a bit young for him but got it anyway for him and his stepsister. They both loved them and it was his favorite gift.

I got this as a gift for my little gal and she love it dearly.

This toy was a disappointment, it more or less just sits there, makes purring more like a cat than dog. There was the expectation of the dog doing something, it can't even stand up. I've already given them to my two granddaughters or I would return them.

Although it says it was English all the writing on the box was foreign, possibly Polish. The dog itself was fine although expensive. I have bought my Grandaughter a lot of the like live pets & this one was the most expensive. Maybe with Coronavirus they are hard to get hold of though.

This is for a Xmas present for my granddaughter so have only tested all working but I'm sure she will love it,ruffles is Very cute , good quality, looks exactly like picture.

Sweet looking puppy - easy to work for a six year old. Very lifelike and was played with all day.
