Some of the Best live Muddy Waters.....
This is a well recorded cd featuring highlights from 3 different shows. Masterfully played by a rotating group of musicians but maintaining a core group. Lots of great slow and moody blues. The cd features heaps of Muddys slide guitar. I've seen Muddy perform over 20 times and believe me this is the good stuff.

Muddy waters live...nothing else!
Would have liked to get a complete show, but once I listened to it,I was very impressed with the remastering of combining 3 shows into one cd.you at Montreux archives, look in the cellar for that infamous frank Zappa show(hint hint!).lot of us Zappa fans are waiting for that one.keep up the good work.

A Towering Concert Document
The content of this 75 minute CD covers live performances by Muddy at Montreux across five years, from 1972 to 1977. He's in powerful voice and he and his band are in superb form across all of it -- and the recording quality is absolutely killer. If it were possible to give this release a sixth star, I would, for the quality of the performances and the audio -- there's no shortage of live Muddy Waters out there, especially from late in his career, but this one stands out among them all.

Fantastic sound quality
Bought this following a review in HiFi News which singled it out for not just for a great live performance but also fantastic sound quality.I totally agree playing it on my high end hifi it puts you in the front row enjoying the concert as if you are there. Also has a nice book style casing with a few interesting pages about the music.Really don't understand a handful of reviews mainly from Italy saying poor quality sound, are they getting a different version?
