I love compartment containers. While I prefer glass ones overall, the plastic ones are great for dry snacks, lunches, and the kids. I like that these have different colored lids, so there is no confusion on who each one belongs to.The compartments are roomy and not too big to include other things in a lunchbox. I also like how easily they stack for space saving storage.They can go in the microwave or dishwasher, but I never put the lids in either. Hubby handwashes the lids always and sometimes the actual container. Just insures they last a lot longer.As always with any container, none are 100% leak proof (think liquids). Though as long as you are not turning them upside down for long periods of time you will be fine.I am totally obsessed with containers. I have 3 cabinets full of them...lol.

Plastic is super thick, and durable. perfect to throw my leftover dinner in for an easy all in one grab and go the next morning. haven't had any issues with staining and the colorful lids make ya kinda excited about taking your lunch to work. (or just remembering to put it up in the first place) I LOVE THESE CONTAINERS. I really can express that enough. spent along time staring at containers and reading review after review. I made the right choice with these!

I purchased these to prep my dog’s food. The size is perfect. When they first arrived, they were stacked so tightly that I cracked one of the containers just trying to separate them (since being used/washed they do not stack so tight). The lids require quite a bit of force on all corners to secure them, and in turn are not so easy to open. This probably ensures that they are leakproof but is a bit annoying. They just sit in my fridge so I usually end up not snapping the lids on all the way.They have held up in the dishwasher and being sent to the dog sitter several time so seem to be durable.Overall good containers but when it comes time to buy more I will try something else just because of the lids.

I liked the colorful covers that fit snugly on the bottom portion. I use these containers to hold homemade meals that I prepare ahead, label with contents, date, stack and freeze. I put a "starch", a meat and a vegetable within the 3 compartments. I choose a meal to thaw overnight in the refrigerator, then just reheat the next night in the microwave and serve with a tossed salad for our supper, after we have both worked all day. The purple cover came with a cracked/split corner. I contacted the seller and Amazon to receive a free replacement cover. TWO days later I received free in the mail a complete 7 set of containers and covers. How's that for GREAT service!!

I sure wish I had read the description of the containers a little more carefully! They certainly do NOT seal and now are mostly unusable for me to make meals for my son’s lunches. Sadly I had them all opened, washed, and seven spaghetti lunches with sides of home made applesauce all served out in the containers before I tried to put the lids on. They were such sturdy looking containers and lids I hadn’t even thought to check if the lids seated tightly before putting the food in. So now we have to put the container into gallon size zip lock bags before they go into my sons lunch bag. Very disappointing!!!
