Sliding door on Transit Mk7 - not locking
I’ve had an annoying problem with my sliding door not closing and the horn sounding when I’ve deadlocked the vehicle. After changing this item…all sorted and as good as new. This part was marked with OE part number and name, so even better.Fitting the part was tricky as I had to remove the contact switch that was above this part (riveted in) once the upper contact was removed, access was easy and all you need to do is press the plastic wings in and this old unit comes out. All in all a very easy job and the van is secure now.

Fits 2015 Ford Transit Custom. - Very simple to replace. Unplug cable from access panel behind, knock the old one, pushclip the new one in and reconnect cable.
