ExOfficioMen's Give-n-go Flyless Brief

Greedy corporate quest for more profit ruins a great product
I have gratefully worn Give-N-Go briefs since a European trip in 2012; I found them to be comfortable, and very easy to wash and dry while on the road. This was my second re-order, but I have to tell you, these things have turned to sh*t - I am enclosing a photo of my undies, taken 6 months - SIX MONTHS - after purchase! Plus, no only did the waistband virtually "melt," it did so while being cold water-washed, and line dried - never washed in hot water or put in a clothes dryer. My last order was for 8 pair, and they all virtually self-destructed about the same time. I will never buy them again.

Time to find a new brief!
Purchased in June 2015 for $12.00. Now $20.00.I have 10 pair of these excellent briefs. BUT, a 66% increase in price changes the decision making criteria!Time so do some homework and find out if these briefs became 66% better since June compared to others on the market.! Tend to think those of us who purchased these briefs, wrote good reviews and recommended them to our peers are now paying the price of a marketing manager taking advantage of a good thing.

Really liked these at first
Really liked these at first, but the elastic gave out in less than a year leaving a loose waistband that didn't feel good. For the price I expected it to last much longer. Have since moved on to Uniqlo Airism Boxer Briefs which are cheaper, have better stretchiness and have held up much better. Disappointed.

Good material, resists odor, dries quick, too constrictive, needs redesign / refinement, overpriced
The material feels great. It dries quickly. Obviously faster than cotton, but surprisingly slower than some of my non-cotton underwear that were not even advertising this benefit. I've hand washed these on a trip. No problem there. The biggest problem for me is the design in the front is way too conservative. I have an average size package, yet it feels like I am wearing something between men and women's underwear. It smushes your package, uncomfortably so. For the exorbitant price they charge, this should not be such an oversight. I would understand if I was a well-endowed outlier, but I am not. I can only imagine this design being comfortable for someone who is 3" or less or missing their balls perhaps. No disrespect to those who are, these will probably fit well. The material seems great quality, but not shaped properly. If you put this underwear on a girl mannequin it would probably just look like women's underwear as their is no real area reserved for the package. These are advertised as underwear for people who travel and/or are doing athletic activity. I've had these a few months now and have hiked a few times in them. They are odor resistant, much better than cotton (although almost anything is). But because they don't seem to be designed for men, it becomes quite uncomfortable in the front as it feels like I'm trying to hike in women's underwear. Maybe winter hiking would be okay with shrinkage. lol. Maybe they designed & tested these in a very cold environment. Maybe they would be okay if you were swimming in a very cold pool. Great prototype, but seriously back to the drawing board ExOfficio. Also, how about some more attractive designs. I don't want to pay $20-$30/ea to look like I'm wearing grandpas tighty whiteys. It's 2015, do people still wear those? Seriously, if your chiseled model doesn't look good in them, I'm surely not going to. How about some travel underwear that the ladies (or guys) can't resist. Good concept, needs refinement.

Fresh as a daisy ...
Sounds stupid, maybe, but my favorite underwear. On a three-week business trip to India, they worked exceptionally well, and, in fact, I probably packed too many pair. Easy to clean (well) in hotels, and always comfortable. I was there in July / August, so slightly after monsoon season, and things were pretty dry - I didn't need to worry about wet or damp and musty undergarments. BTW, I could've used hotel laundry for these, but I didn't feel like it was needed.

Not as comfortable as Boxer Brief
In my quest for the perfect underwear, I fell in love with the ExOfficio Men's Give-N-Go BOXER brief, so I decided to try out these shorter sport briefs. These sports briefs feel completely different than the boxer brief, and are not nearly as comfortable to me. Those are my favorites, and these are not in the top 10 for daily wear.I thought the short length of these would make my legs easier to move, but the difference is not noticeable. In fact, I'd rather have soft boxer briefs covering the upper more sensitive part of my leg. Additionally, the sewing seam for these is right in the middle of the brief... whoever decided to do that should probably be fired. Look at the product picture to see for yourself. If you're into very lightweight travel or backpacking clothing, then these are okay... but they can be improved upon and should be sold cheaper.

You will not be disappointed. I'm 6'4 200 lbs and a large is ...
If anyone is hesitant to try these out given the modestly steep price for underwear, understand this. The retail cost you pay in the store is 20$ a pair plus whatever tax you get stuck with. Additionally, these are totally worth the full price and then some. They feel as though they have been woven from the manes of baby unicorns, none of that full adult mane with split ends stuff, BABY unicorn manes softened and cured in the tears of moisture wicking fae folk. You will not be disappointed. I'm 6'4 200 lbs and a large is perfect. These are a better more secure fit than the "give and go" version as the name would indicate, however the magic is in the weave and the material. I was told about their pristine awesomeness by a few different people at REI and checked them out on here after guaranteeing a fit with a pair I purchased retail from them. Pure magic, disappointment shall not be yours.
