Great bar and looks great
We were going to use this bar in our tub/shower to assist with getting in and out of the tub safely. It is very well made and very pleasing to to the eye. I bought this one not dealing it was too long and had to send it back for a smaller one

Installed in every bathroom
I install in every bathroom in my home & rental properties grab bars instead of towel bars. They work well as towel bars with added safety. The latest install needed oiled bronze to match the decor so this is perfect. If installed properly you won’t have to worry about the “towel bar” being pulled from the wall. Just make sure you measure properly and install into a stud for the most benefit.

Well made and not too difficult to install
Heavy weight and knurled surface makes this grab bar a good choice. Installation can be a bit tricky - I drilled one hole and attached the bar to the shower wall. I then used the holes in the mounting flanges as a guide for drilling the other five holes. This gave me perfect alighnment and kept the bit from walking.

This grab bar is only 12", which is not immediately obvious from the product info.
Looks like it will work fine, however had I know the bar itself was only 12" I would have gone with a longer one. The product info does not make this clear at all, and the measurements show 15" (which is what I wanted), however those measurements if you take the time to look at the drawing (which I didn't apparently) are from end of the install cap to other end, not the bar itself.

Best bar for me
This was the perfect color bronze that matched the bronze already in the home we purchased. Since we had some other work being done, the handy person installed it for me. It has a nice sturdy feel to it and is thick enough to feel like you are safe when you grab or hold on to it. Would recommend highly. It did have a tiny paint bubble on on side, but the person made sure it was on the bottom and did not show.

Easy to install
Perfect match for the other oil rubbed bronze fixtures in our bathroom. Easy install.

Damaged and incomplete
It had to wait for 10 days for me to install it but it went up easily. There was only 1 screw (not 6) roaming around in the carton and there was one small but deep chip to bare metal along with some other superficial scratches. Returns are too much hassle so I bought some screws and will get some touch up paint. The unit itself looks great and is very well made.
