The adaptor does not function as advertised. The adaptor converts video only, audio does not work.

* Easy to install, Just plugin and done.* Clip-on feature is good it holds the device in display port properly.* Supports Audio ( If your graphics card does as mine)* Tested full HD resolution (1920x1080@60Hz).

Prefect convertor
Have been using this for the past 1 week works as desired no issues at all nice product. Would recommend for all who has dp for their system and needs to convert to hdmi.👍

Does not meet the requirement
It works well from a Laptop or Desktop which has DP port and Monitor has HDMI, it does not work the other way round. If you are looking for HDMI to DP converter then this is not the right one for you. I had ordered the convertor as I wanted to use it with XBOD which has HDMI output and my Monitor has a DP Port, as I am already using the HDMI for Desktop.

Does not work with my LU28E590DS Samsung 28" 4K monitor
I bought this "Display Port" to HDMI adapter cable seeing the huge rating people have given to it. However, it does not work with my Samsung 28" LU28E590DS 4K monitor. When I connect my laptop's HDMI output to this adapter, and then to the "Display Port" of the Monitor, the monitor still complains that it does not detect any signal.I tried with other laptops with HDMI outputs, but all efforts were in vain.Not sure what's wrong with the version of the Display Port to HDMI adapter cable. :(
